Does it make the shower floor slippery?

No, not any more than it would already be. If anything in my shower it breaks down some of the conditioner and soap left behind and it will wash down when I start my next shower. I really really love this stuff.

Does it helpb prevent the buildup of calcium and mineral deposits?

With hard water yes my shower stays a lot cleaner and I don’t have to do as much scrubbing!

I'm sure it smells good, but does it actually prevent build up? How exactly? It's adding a coating which I'm sure also gets stuck on the wall.

what happens is the soap scum kind of melts and next time you use shower (that is where I use it, after each shower) is washes it away so sides of tub and walls are clean. it does not put a coating on them.

Can you use this product on natural stone in your shower?

My shower is stone tiles with the floor being the tile that looks like actual stones. This product works very well; I also put the product on the glass shower door and glass shower wall. I've been using a couple years now.
