Intex Protector 725 UPS

This UPS is perfect for desktops, TVs, HomeTheatre system, gaming consoles etc. I got this product in approximately 2 hours from the time of order. The UPS is small but is very powerful. If you will overload it, it will not work properly. During these times I am personally using it for WiFi router and TV. It gives backup for approximately 10-15 mins.

This UPS will automatically switch off if the load is not meeting the minimum load requirement in order to save power due to 'No Load Auto Shutdown feature'.If you are struggling to get the adequate power backup for your router, here is a trick.You just need to add an extra load by connecting one night bulb along with your router. you can either directly connect bulb with the help of parallel adapter or holder extension. Now I am getting a backup of around 2 hours with new UPS. Useless, battery exhausted in hardly five minutes with 18 watt led only. Dont buy or be ready with A new battery at your own cost to get backup.

I bought this one 3 yrs ago I think. It didn't give me any issues the 1st year. But then soon after, it started giving issues soon. No, my PC isn't a very power-hungry machine. My PC doesn't suck up much power and yet this UPS couldn't very long. After abt 2 years I had to get the battery within this UPS completely replaced cos it stopped working. I have bought 2 Intex UPSs so far and I don't have a good experience with them I must say. They're okay-ish. Not a great value for money definitely

Loved the simplicity ... just connect it ... and it just works! No frills ... no nonsense!Tip: I had actually bought it to provide power backup for my Aquaguard RO (water purifier) unit ... I think it was wrong as it didn't work. (I guess because it's an electrical device with motors and all ... and not an electronics device.) I then connected it to backup my electronics stuff (FTTH modem + WiFi router + wireless telephone) and it just works! I even tried it for my 40-inch LCD TV + Home Theatre ... and it worked like a charm there too!Note: Please carefully calculate the power ratings of the devices you connect ... and DO NOT overload at any point of time.

After using this product for more than a year I would say it was an average product, because when electricity was cut off while using my desktop it only gave me 2 min max before it shut down with 3 fast beeps(This was from start and I was just surfing on the browser with no heavy usage). And at present even after charging for a whole day, it only give 10 sec backup while browsing Internet and 0 sec while playing games.

I have used this same UPS in the past and the one thing that's kind of off about this is the battery life. The last one I used, worked fine for about a year and then the back up reduced to a few seconds. Now, the reason why I bought the same product again- Well, it's the best one within that price range. My desktop is used pretty extensively and with all the power cut here, I can't blame it entirely for the low battery life.

Sorry & upset buying this product as it did not work at all as it say in specs just one LED 40" connected and failed to work even for 30second.Tried three four days but totally failed.I wanted to safe guard my LED tv only as there are several power goes off in a day thought this UPS may safe guard as power off DG on keep happening several time in a day.
