Good Book have specific information regarding Indian subcontinent mammals. Can be used for reference purposes.

Very informative and must have book for wildlife enthusiasts. Thanks to Amazon for on time delivery. There is printing issue in one of the pages and other page is some contents aren’t properly printed

It has brief description with photos of the species. , distribution geography and concise details of HH. Small in size and can be carried easily on the field. Recommended.

I wont be writing a detailed review here , but one thing I would like to make very clear is that both the authors are very dedicated and have seen and went on field trips with one of them on a number of occasions. The amount of practical experience that they carry is priceless and this is a must buy for everyone who wish to increase their knowledge on the wild animals of India.

Book is smaller (length and breadth) and number of pages than expected. Information is just about passable. Pictures range from not very good to some decent ones, Has quick information but not sure if all the information is current with some latest changes not being incorporated. A good book for children and new comers to esp for the lower price (about Rs 395) - however if looking for the "one" mammal book this is not the one to go for. That would surely , still , be Vivek Menon's mammal guide

Nice images and crisp info makes it a perfect handbook for mammals of India. Its a deal under 400 bucks & a must have. Fantastic work by Rohit.

The book is more informative and with good quality pictures. Only error I could note was the images of long tailed tree mouse and Indian Gerbil were interchanged. Hope that may get corrected in next edition.

Paperback quality is avg better to buy hardcover for longterm

Excellent ouvrage très compact et format pratique. Je tiens à signaler que les auteurs ne sont pas "Chris R. Shepherd" et Bikram Grewal mais Bikram Grewal et Rohit Chakravarty.

Took this along on trip to some Indian game parks. Very helpful. Only wish I could have seen more of the different animals

Guida piccola e interessante per conoscere le singole specie di mammiferi del subcontinente indiano, con foto e descrizione associati. Purtroppo le mappe di distribuzione delle singole specie sono assenti.
