Handle extenders for my umbrella stroller!
I needed to make my older daughter's umbrella stroller easier to push while wearing my infant in her ergo. I am so happy how it turned out! The stroller handles were a little too small for these to fit, I wrapped each handle with a tennis racquet grip that I cut in half. Worked perfectly!

Great substitute for aerobars
Great substitute for aerobars. Was able to add essentially 3 more positions to my ride with these which was great, especially on a windy day.

New use....
I bought these for my wife's wheelchair. I'm 6' 2" and have to bend slightly to push the wheelchair causing back pains and fatigue. I attached these to the handles in a vertical position and viola, no more bending and no more backache. Bonus, grips fit too.

Purchased for a wheelchair, not a bike.
Added these to the handles of a folding transport chair (wheelchair). Takes a lot of stress off my body, since with them I can stand up straight while pushing, and because my wrists are in a neutral position, I can push with more power up inclines without stressing my hands/wrists unnecessarilyOne tip if you're buying these for this purpose: Before the final tightening of these handles, fold the chair to its most compact configuration, reposition the handles so that they don't interfere with this folding, then tighten them completely.Oh, and glue the little end-caps in place. I lost one already, but it doesn't bother me enough to detract a star.

My set is perfectly symmetrical and the threaded taps hold a fully tightened torque just fine. I can't find the lite mentioned either, but I used the set anyway to transform my $225 big box store 29" "Mountain Bike" (more of a "'Gravel Road Bike") into a very comfy "Beachy Cruiser" that I can sit upright in at 6-2. Not nearly as cool as a single gear coaster brake bike required for a genuine "Beach Cruiser", but the gearing sure comes in handy for the hills around the beach..

Perfect considering the price.
First of all, I don't use these for the intended purpose of adding an additional grip position, instead I use them more as a bash guard for my hands. The construction is solid, but not perfect. Someone else complained that they were not symmetrical to each other. I found mine to be close enough, that I would never notice the difference while shooting down the bobsled. The only thing I didn't like about them is that the distal end was not squared off, but being as they are aluminum, it was only twenty seconds work with a disc sander to true them up. The colored aluminum end caps were a separate purchase and NOT included with the barends. The barends come with black rubber, push-in, end caps.Photo 1. The barend on the right is stock, and the barend on the left is after I squared off the end.Photo 2. The disc sander makes quick work of the aluminum tube.Photo 3. The end after I've ground it square. I only took off enough material for the entire end to match, which is why some paint is still visible.Photo 4. Completed barend "hockey stick wrapped" with black athletic tape, and installed on one of my MTBs.

Short Ski Bend version. Strong! Great Quality
I'm 6'3" 210lbs and these ends are exactly what I needed. They are not too long nor are they too short. I took them on a trial sprint through the neighborhood and I noticed an immediate difference. Whether seated or standing, the ends put me in a more forward position on the bike, shifting my weight onto the front wheel, which will make climbing all that much easier. I also noticed that while seated, my form was more "aero" which will make riding against the wind easier.I covered the ends and the handlebar with origin8 Cork handlebar tape. This was my first time using tape, so it isn't pretty, but it does the job. I moved my gear shifter and brakes to the center to allow more room for hand placement. This worked out better for me because I like my arms closer to my body when seated. I normally rode with my hands resting on the brake shifter's mount to keep them close.Hope this helps with your decision.

Perfect Fit & Function!
Absolutely a perfect fit and function. Just finished restoring an early 90's "warehouse" MTB. (converted to a street bike) Installed without a glitch and locked on solid. Plastic end caps are included and gives it a nice finished touch. Opted for the shorter bars which definitely gives you enough to climb hills and relieve shoulder tension from time to time. I'm 6' and worked out great for my purposes. Definitely a sweet addition!

Even at the tightest point, couldn’t get them as tight on the handlebar as I wanted. Needed to insert a thin rubber spacer inside the clamps to get them properly secured. Handlebars are standard mtb size 31.4mm

Nice bars and they fit really good
Nice bars and they fit really good. Not sure if they will help wrist or hand pain but sitting up a straighter on long runs is a lot more enjoyable and worth their cost

Good product
I've used this on a mountain bike style bike to allow me the option to sit more upright when riding. The bars seem to be well constructed.
