Good starter kit, wooden tools smell and colors run
The wooden tools smell like chemicals and the color leaks from them (it’s probably the dye they used). The other tools work well. Not a bad kit for a beginner like me.

Beginners Luck!
This product is great for beginners. It has everything you need to start. I love these items and if I’m honest I really don’t need to buy anything else. Use your imagination and your creation is endless. If you are not sure if you should get it I say go for it. Trust me it has all you need. I personally love it and haven’t bought anything else since.

A decent starter kit.
This kit is a good value for the number of pieces it contains, and the carrying case is very helpful. Despite their appearance in the pictures, there are no tools included for making any sharp-edged cuts, which would have been useful.

Very useful!
I was impressed by this set. I love using the veining tools to make flowers realistic. Reading through the comments from other buyers who seemed confused as to what some of the tools were for, I discovered they are very useful for embossing aluminum and pewter. That has set me off on an additional journey, for which I'm very grateful. And looking around on Amazon, I also see the dotting tools are used for painting mandalas on rocks. Very cool.

Great products but missing items.
Its nice products. Great for beginners but I didn't receive everything it was supposed to come with. I'm missing the pouch and the acrylic roller set. I would have given it five stars but I'm missing items it advertised.

Wood & plastic tools a waste.
Wood tools were not dry from being stained and roughly cut, left color and wood bits on clay. Black tools were molded plastic and have a seam making them in my opinion not worth having in this set. Would have been a good value if wood tools didnt leave stain and wood behind and the plastic tools could have been left out completely and still been worth it. Everything else has been totally worth it but I have not baked any clay on the metal tools so not sure about the rubber around the handle of it.I did also try to sand both the wood and plastic tools to try and make them more useable. Dont bother. Even after sanding and polishing the plastic it's still no good.

Some goofy stuff inside, but well worth the buy!
The metal/plastic ball and rubber tip tools and the acrylic roller & plate are nice enough. I wish all the grips were tapered. The grip is roughly cut off near the ends of the double ended ball tools, and on some of them, it can dig into the clay when you try to get into tight spaces. That said, they do work, have a nice weight to them, and seem very durable. Having this variety of sizes is wonderful! The black tools seem nice, too, but I haven't used them yet.The "rosewood" tools are silly. You would have to sand these yourself to have any hope for using them without depositing wood splinters in your clay. Also, the wood stain came off on my hands when I tried to clean the the tool with a baby wipe. I'm going to have to buy what I need from that set separately. The bag is nice quality and easily fits all of the tools inside.Despite some shortcomings, this $12 kit is incredible value. The roller alone can cost $10 when purchased at a craft store! Definitely worth the purchase!

Quality
LOVE this set! Well made. Very impressed! I couldn't find anything like this set in any craft stores near me. Something similar, but for $40-$50.... And a cute little bag. Would be a great gift for clay sculptors young and old.
