It is $50 bucks and you might find it cheaper but it is a worthwhile upgrade. It has newer stepper drivers that make the stepper motors virtually silent. I can't hear them anymore only the fans now. The board also has thermal runaway enabled and has a boot loader preinstalled so if you wanted to switch to Vanilla Marlin or the TH3D software you could do so very easily.
