I would say it is worth it.
Worked well with my school's ID. Compatible with both Macs and Windows. Not set up needed, just plugged it right in.

Works out of the box !!!!
For the price, this card reader has proven to be a great value. It works well and reads most cards easily. I use it when collecting card holder information at my martial arts school. I appreciate the compact size that takes up minimal space on my front desk. I plugged this into a windows laptop and it was a simple plug-and-play. No settings or setup to go through, worked right out of the box.

Horrible did not work
Did not work or go online. I just wanted to copy my building swiping card waste of money through it in the garbage and just bought another key the landlord which cost me $100 shouldโve done it from the first place
