Loved this book

I ordered the paperback for a rental and I received one that is perfectly brand new with an access code to boot. I was under the impression that only the big $140 books had the access code! I bought the book right off the ww noton website at $55 which includes access and thought that was a great deal until I discovered this! I only rented this paperback because I like the feel of a book in my hands. I'm old school that way I guess Wish I'd known sooner but now you do!

Better price then most bookstores

This is a good purchase if you just want the hard cover of the book to read. The book is in good condition, but if you need to do online homework you need to purchase it online. The access code in the book does not work. So don't buy it if you need an access code because the one in the book will most likely not work at all.

As online classes go, this one is pretty good. I just wanted to note that having purchased the book new, it did come with the code to allow access to the online material. There's another similar class for classical music called "The Essential Listening to Music" that is also run by a publisher, but not quite as friendly to use or covering so many topics as this book.

Purchased tis book for a college course, the CD was included, book was great condition. Planning to rent books in the future now that I know how that works, but even as a purchase was better than the college bookstore prices and other online college bookstores advertised!

I bought this for my son. I had to ship it to his house in another state so I didn't get to see it first. We all love Halloween and since they decorate and go all out...I thought I'd get him this book like the one from Beetlejuice. I just knew he'd get a kick out of that. ONLY PROBLEM!!! It's not even a book. It's completely empty pages and I paid 10.00 for a empty book! OMG I was so mad! BUTTTT... He said it looked great on his mantle so oh well, lesson learned.

I ordered this for class and got it significantly cheaper!!

Hi there,It says on the back cover of the loosleaf version that the code is in the book to get started but I don't know where to find the code.
