These really save your hands when cooking with your cast iron pans. After some near misses of burning myself while cooking I decided to give these a try. So glad I got these! Nice quality, resists heat really well, thick enough to keep the user safe from burning themselves. Easy for cleaning and great value for price. Perfect for my cast iron. I have bought them before. I reminder. Don't forget to check the temp on your stove. These will light on fire. I have a gas stove so the fire is probably larger than say an electric stove. I take them off until ready to use. They are GREAT! No problem with heat issues when used correctly.

These work great!! We have a gas stove so we don't have to worry about catching a towel or larger pot holder on fire! These slide right on and stay away from the fire! And you can not feel the heat from the handle through these covers!
