I really like this Stanley 30 oz mug carrier because it comes with a short strap as well as a linger shoulder strap. That short strap will come in very handy for me. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 for 2 reasons. First, the carrier uses plastic clasps/hooks rather than metal. Other options offered on Amazon used metal. I suspect these won't last very long. Second, this carrier came with a VERY strong odor that even made my eyes burn and water. I'm going to set it outside overnight in the hope that the stench will go away.

My wife bought this a couple weeks ago for her large tumbler with a handle. And having the pocket for her cell phone is great. She takes this with her everywhere. The only small criticism is that the phone pocket isn’t quite large enough to zip up with her phone inside. Basically it holds the phone securely enough without zipping it closed but it would better if the pocket was a little deeper.

Great gift idea. Holds most 30 oz water bottles. Does not hold most newer phones but makes a great pocket for other things.
