If you like making useful products for around the house, these fittings are just what you need. I used them to make a very sturdy garden rack. The slip fit is 1.25 inches which is better than standard 1 inch slip fit plumbing parts because it gives a bigger surface area for the glue, so it is much sturdier. Plus it doesn’t slip out as bad when you are applying the glue.

These fittings worked quite well with the 1" pipes I bought at Home Depot. I used them to build a frame for a fence for my vegetable garden. When planning out your cuts for the pipe length, do realize that the pipes will only go into the fittings about 1/2 an inch.

These are solid PVC fittings that you can't find at the local HW store. They are for structures, rather than plumbing. No reason they couldn't be used for plumbing, but, these 3-way, and 4-way tees are essential for structures. They truly are Heavy Duty PVC fittings, they are hefty and well manufactured.I had previously purchased a kit for a pool float holder from a high end catalogue. It looked like PVC but was very thin walled plastic tubing with similarly thin plastic fittings, a disaster. I figured I could build one myself using 1' schedule 40 PVC and a few furniture fittings. These fit the bill. They could be glued with PVC glue but press-fit (no glue) connections are quite robust for my applications.Latest effort - peddle car garage for the grandkids.

We purchased a coolaroo replacement dog bed cover and used 1" schedule 40 pvc and these elbow fittings and some end caps to make a frame. A 10' piece of schedule 40 pvc was only a few bucks at HD. (schelule 40 is stronger than regular pvc). Since you feed the 1" pvc thru sewn tunnels on the replacement cover, you need to take measurements to cut the pvc for length and width to feed thru, then you will need a bit of strength to get the fourth elbow in place by force. Now to cut the legs, depending on how tall your dog is and how much your dog weighs and how much sag you have if the cut pieces of pvc are just a bit short, cut the riser pieces of pvc accordingly. Finish off with end caps on the bottom. I used no pvc adhesive.

I worked (hobby) with them today; what a pleasure... Perfectly sized and polished. It is a plesure to work with them; so much that I order many more for other projects.

I ordered the three way tee, but was sent a four way. Still worked for what I needed, but technically not what I ordered. Again, build quality etc was great, but just not exactly what I ordered.

After looking at all the big box stores to repair my dog hammock, I found exactly what was needed on Amazon and this seller! The fittings arrived quickly and were well made for what was needed. A good value and strong enough for my 100# puppy. Now I have a go-to place for my many other projects. Glad to have found these and these fittings and this awesome seller!
