Responsive af!
These are the best trucks I have ever used.I use a longboard as my main commute in San Francisco and the response these give are like no other trucks out there. The blood orange brand bushings that these came with are truly the most responsive bushings as well. They seem to have two different modes based on the way that they're built. You can easily turn by leaning softly but if you need to quickly dart in a different direction you can add a little more weight into the lean and you instantly feel board respond.Im using a lowrider drop through deck with some Bigfoot Boardwalk wheels so these do work when mounting from the top. Luckily they have a nice finish and logo to bring the look together on the top of the board

Great stuff
I order a few things for upgrading my electric skateboard. I went with these trucks, this pulley kit (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FCVY4SF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and this motor mount (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B073C6TJC5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1). See my reviews on those item on on there pages.Anyway, everything did eventually end up working great together. Some slight modifications were required though. With the wheels I had, after mounting the pulley I noticed that the pulley slightly hit the edge of the truck. This was easy to fix with a dremel but could also be done with a file. If you use a dremel use the WOOD bits, aluminum is a soft metal and will clog other grinding wheels. Over all the project was successful and these trucks worked great.

Nice Trucks
These trucks are pretty nice, the cast looks precise and the mounting points for the wheels are super even, the machining is really good, over all these look to be a great pair. They ride stable but I don't do big slides with them so I can't offer an opinion on that end of the stability, I free ride and cruise, so these are more than enough. The bushings that come with These are loud as hell so I replaced them with my Orangatang Nipples, which in my opinion are super dope bushings.Plus they look way better than my other trucks.I'd recommend them.

DO NOT ATTEMPT AT HIGH SPEEDS
So. Right off the bat. I noticed the kingpin was shortened to 2 and 1/2 inch. Rather than the standard 2 and 3/4 inch. This problem in itself. Stops me from being able to run my favorite bushing combination. I decided to give the Ultra High Rebound bushings a go anyways. Right when I hit speeds over 15 mph. The bushings start pushing back so hard and fast. It nearly shakes me off my board. I've never liked blood orange bushings. I used to like that Caliber provided a truck. That could run multiple bushing combinations/ brands. Really bummed to see such a great product get nerfed...

Carvy, quality.
Very lanky feel to them. The stock bushings are pleasantly qualified for carving purposes. My mind was more on mellow downhill so I switched em out lol. Gold Satin color matches my board beautifully. Bushing seats are perfectly shaped for all standard bushings as well as specialized venom/riptide bushings. Very strong feelings with a very precise and consistent shape, almost art like. The hanger is symmetrical so you can't lower your board by flipping them but I got them for a drop through so no problem there. On amazon these were a bit cheaper than the other top brands (paris/grizzly/randal/gullwing) so it was kind of a no brainer : )

Most of the trucks this good usually seem to be between $100-$160. The caliber 2 trucks look as well as they function and also work with the caliber two truck motor mounts if you are looking to build an electric skateboard. The only comment I would have to make about the trucks if that the paint scratches off very easily, and so when you tighten the trucks the paint on the bolts will actually come off.

Great Trucks!
I ordered the midnight satin blue trucks. Prior to ordering I asked if anyone knew what the duromter was on the black bushings that come with the trucks over the blood orange red 89a that come with the raw truck.Nobody answered so I ordered anyway. If you’re cruising they’re fine, but they’re cone and definitely don’t feel like 89a.If you wanna bomb some hills, toss em and get you some venom double barrel bushings to your liking. You can see I got some wheel bite in the pic when carving and sliding front side. No Bueno.Set up is a Rayne Darkside 36, 1/4” Riser with 70mm 80a blood orange wheels.

Great trucks!
I finally bought a real set of trucks for my 42 inch drop down cruiser longboard, and I was immediately impressed. Carving became amazingly smooth (buttery smooth, in fact), and the overall design of these trucks is solid and they look great. Only critical remark I can say is that any painted ones, like the red ones I purchased, will wear at some point. I would recommend the "raw", unpainted version more than any painted ones. Only other thing is that the axles stick out just a hair more on one side from the hanger than they do the other, but it doesn't make any difference as I can tell, other than one wheel takes a second more to crank down than the other. But this is an over-examination. Great trucks. Get your "raw" Calibers today, and you won't regret it.
