Outstanding Game! Amazing Features and Instructions
Fallout has always been a huge game favorite for me and my family. We also love board games which I played growing up constantly. But today’s board games are not what we once played as kids. They require a different mindset. Altho some are the typical style of most the games; those that fall under this Fallout version take on new meaning. Which I love! The quality of the game is great. The instructions and miniatures add even more precise quality and enjoyment to the game. The gaming board is huge so it takes up quite a bit of space, but if you’re into these type of games you already understand this point. If you do not fully understand, it’s easy to adapt by creating a space for gameplay. This may not be everyone’s cup of tea, as they say. But if friends or even some adventurous family members are into at least trying to learn and have fun, this is the game. Also advice: give yourself some time to learn the rules and the “how-tos” of the gameplay. Do not get frustrated & give up. It takes time to learn the rules & not everyone has the kind of brain which can absorb & explain to others in one go. So just have fun work together to learn and enjoy. This type of game grows over time. There are many different add-ons and miniatures that you can purchase - or friends and family can gift to you - but it will grow and grow. It’s amazing!!

Great skirmish game
What a great game. We've been having a blast with it since it arrived. Pros and Cons incoming. If you like the fallout universe, or skirmish style miniature wargaming, this game is for you. If you're familiar with skirmish wargaming, go ahead and spring for the resin miniatures starter though, it'll end up saving you a little money in he long run. All of the expansion kits are resin, the included PVC models in the starter set suffer from classic GW inbred mumbley face, and lack a little definition. If you're new skirmish wargaming, this set includes everything you need to get you started; you'll find yourself waiting for expansions like we are though. The mechanics are simple enough to learn : match symbols and numbers, flight path style measuring sticks, easy to follow quick start rules. This system is more along the lines of Mantic's new vanguard skirmish game and not along the lines of mordheim rules. It's quick, streamlined, and learning a few symbols is alot faster than trying to memorize charts. some criticisms : some of the starter sets included an alien miniature that isn't used in the quickstart rules, I would have much rather had another survivor model. There isn't any terrain included. 2d terrain is cheap and easy to find, in a big box starter of at this price range though, I would have expected some cardstock buildings or small PVC terrain pieces I would have rather seen the game released only in the resin variant. I understand why they chose a cheaper price point option; with an inferior material miniature that's designed as a stepping stone to people familiar with fallout but not skirmish wargaming, I think this was the wrong decision though. It's more confusing to new people and really downplays the quality of the sculpts. In summary : Great fun, Great IP, Great game. Pick it up, and give it a try. We like it way better than any of Games Workshops recent skirmish style games.

My favorite miniature game at the moment
I have played a lot of miniature games and this is my favorite at the moment. You can play solo, cooperative or player vs player. Now with the pandemic, solo gaming has become a must in wargaming. Fallout Wasteland Warfare is great recreating the environment of the video games in the tabletop. It has different factions you can use alone or combined with others. The more factions and miniatures you have the better the game becomes. I recommend you get this starter box because it contains the Zetan alien, the Campaign book and the proprietary dice set. It comes with all needed to play, with the exception of terrain. If you have a 3d printer you can buy stl files directly from Modiphius or google for some. Print them to make the table look better and recreate the environment of the video games. In case you dont have a 3d printer, get the pre-painted Battle System or Blacksite Studios terrain. You can also make your own terrain and show your artistic knowledge. The only downside of the game is the huge amount of cards you will amass when you get new miniatures and expansions. You will need to buy A.I. cards and other sets of cards separately if you want to play solo or expand the items, perks and more. After Wave 2 release, no cards are included in the boxes. Because the more cards you have for this game, it represents more fun for the player. You have the option to pay for the app digital cards. The digital cards costs the same as the printed cards. Catch 21. In conclusion, this is not the typical army game like 40k. It has some elements of Infinty, but applied differently. This game is unique with its own style and fun. Enjoy it!

Roll those dice for the Fallout baby!
Vault Tec's introduction to The Wasteland, a great way to get your after the bombs fall party hardy on! This is a great box set, the materials inside a great, the models are sharp looking and usable, and easily paintable, it's all wonderful. If you like Table Top Wargames and the Fallout universe (old school, through games or newly introduced via the Show), this is a must!

EXPENSIVE!
I love Fallout. I have been a fan since being introduced to Fallout 3. I love everything about the game so I thought I'd try this board game based on the franchise. The game is well thought out and relatively easy to understand even though it has a complicated-looking set of rules and parts. It's a good game. Issues: The price is outlandish. Especially considering that the card decks and miniatures necessary to play anything beyond the vanilla game are $20 to $50 a piece and there are over a dozen of them! They don't sell stls for home printing either.

Superb skirmish wargame set in the exciting world of Fallout. The narrative scenarios make each game much more meaningful like saving a dog from the dastardly super mutants or even opening a vault. The settlement mode is interesting as it provides a storyline with the character you are playing with. Gather a friend and start exploring the wasteland!

Besides one corner slightly damaged and one miniature broken (but easily repairable) everything looks good. Can’t wait to paint and play.
