Planters Mixed Nuts, Unsalted, 10.3 Ounce Canister (Pack of 4)

This product is a real find. The size is just right for a dieting person, not a party. Pricing comes out very competitively, well below many mixed nuts in bulk. Freshness is an issue and in 10.3 oz containers, these are fresh throughout the week that they last for me. Flavor is uniformly good even with the somewhat excess peanuts. Unsalted is hard to find for a diet. Real good.

My local grocery stopped carrying the unsalted variety of Planters Mixed Nuts, but I found the item via Amazon Prime and "subscribed" (four cans per month). Same great product that I'd been buying in the supermarket -- and at a substantially lower price.

Quality product but if I had to guess, per package there may only be 2 Brazil Nuts, 10 Almonds and 15 Cashews for every 5,000 peanuts. Good price but poor ratios if your looking for quality nuts.

Mixed nuts are a wonderfully healthy snack. For those with food addiction issues like me, however, foods that are high in fat combined with salt can be very difficult to eat in a controlled, moderate manner. Salted nuts are a trigger food for me, and I have been unable to find unsalted mixed nuts in any local food stores. Therefore, I took this opportunity have them delivered to my door. I found these unsalted nuts to be of very good quality. The lack of salt does help moderate my consumption of the nuts. At the time of my last purchase, they were reasonably priced compared to similar (but salted) products in local grocery stores. They have gone up in price since my last order, however, so I deducted a star. However, I notice that Amazon is currently offering a 25% off "coupon" for those who order the product via their "Subscribe and Save" program, which I think is a good deal. If you spend a lot of time on the road, always keep a can of these nuts handy. It makes a perfect snack to help you make it from the middle of nowhere to your next meal. They last practically forever in the can without refrigeration as long as you keep the plastic lid on tight after opening. The unsalted mixed nuts have a deliciously delicate roasted nut flavor.

This was actually bought as bird food for parrots, macaws and such. Since it isn't loaded down with the salt, it has been very handy to add to pet bird diets, especially if one needs to put on some weight. For me personally.... I think I am too used to the salted versions of these, because I did not like them too much. I prefer the salt, even if unhealthy.

The Planters Mixed Nuts, Unsalted, taste the best of all the unsalted nuts I have tried! It is difficult enough finding UNSALTED mixed nuts, but to find them so well priced and in packs of 4 cans is unheard of!!! Way to go, Amazon!!!!!!
