Sun spots
I like being able to use it to remove sun spots. Not as strong as the doctors but will do the job. Sometimes have to hit it twice.

Works on age spots!
I couldn't wait to write this review, but sat on my hands till I had a good "after" photo :) I spent a few hundred dollars to have ONE age spot removed at the dermatologist's office with liquid nitrogen. I did some research, watched some YouTube videos, and read the reviews of this freeze spray. Well it works! There is a learning curve. Like others have mentioned, it works great if you spray it into a dixie cup. I used a fine paint brush to apply to the age spot. You need to repeat for several freeze/thaw cycles. Tip: It's a little freaky to do to yourself, so start by practicing on age spots on your arms or hands. I have both so that's what I did. I was a little overzealous in the beginning, but you definitely do get the hang of it after awhile. You are creating a small wound. Initially the skin swells up where you treated it and is tender for a few hours. Then a scab forms in day. Be gentle with the scabbed area. Once the scab comes off, the new skin underneath is delicate and pink. I used a very good concealer for both the scab stage (gently removing it at night with makeup remover) and for the pink skin phase. You don't want any sun on the wound or the new skin. Pictured are the before and after shots of the 3 age spots on my right cheek that I did. I am at about the 3 week mark in the after photo. The pic with no circles is the most recent- all 3 spots are gone! :) In all I have gotten rid of over 15 age spots so far, on my hands, arms, chest and face. This is very satisfying for me at age 57 to finally be rid of those stupid age spots! You can't beat the price, and doing it yourself you have total control and can be very precise with applying the liquid nitrogen. Good luck, you can do it!! :)

It works on skin growth with a little modification
I have been getting more skin growths as I age and been exposed a lot more in the sun due to fulltime travel (even with sunscreen all the time). My doctor had been using liquid nitrogen to remove moles on my face after checking to make sure they are not cancerous. I learned how to identify basal cell carcinoma, I figure it is much easier to do it on my own. When using this spray, I experienced the same problem as many complaints here about damage to the wider area around the skin growth that I tried to remove. After trying with different methods such as applying vaseline around the moles, or using a piece of plastic with a hole etc., nothing worked. I am glad that I finally figured out the best way to keep the liquid nitrogen spray to stay within the intended spot. I use a short plastic straw that fit exactly the size of the mole. I use the short larger straw as a guide to cover the mole and insert the straw connect to the bottle inside before spraying. It has a perfect outcome as the liquid nitrogen only concentrated on the mole that sit inside of the straw. I followed the same process as my doctor by spraying 3 times with 10-second rest in between each spray. I am very happy with the result this time because there is no large scar as my previous experiments.

Not so great for a challenging situation...maybe
Granted, I have a challenging situation with warts all over hands...so, for that, it's ok but not stellar. If you have just one or two, probably this'd work great. Unlike some reviewers, I find that this is nowhere near as strong as the dr. office version--but then the price is way less too. I have to spray one spot multiple times to get it thoroughly frozen. It is nowhere near as sinister as it can sound. One shot hardly even gets uncomfortable, let alone painful. If you're treating multiple spots, the freezing seems to collect and block the applicator--which then falls out. That happens fairly quickly and not convenient. When it's starting to freeze within the applicator tube, the trigger gets harder to pull, so aim is affected. Overall, it's ok--but definitely room for improvement. Oh, I should mention, there is a product called "wart stick" that is a high percentage of salycilic acid. I've used that along with the freezing--a cuticle stick to apply to the wart and covered with tegaderm (some say duct tape works too). Still a work in progress here.

Completely Useless
I bought this hoping to get the same effect as the spray my doctor used to get rid of my other skin tag, where a single spray was enough to remove them within a couple days. I read the reviews, used q-tips and prepared for multiple uses to get rid of my bumps... And then... Nothing. Nothing happened when I used this spray the first day. Nothing happened when I used this spray the second day. Nothing happened when I used this spray the third day. On the fourth day, my skin tags were no smaller than when I started, my moles no less brown and my age spots were utterly unchanged. The only difference was much of the product I spent my money on was evaporated into my breathing air. So, in desperation, I held the q-tip down longer, and even tried a direct spray once. The only difference from before and after with this product is three chemical burns and $30+ thrown in the trash.
