I'm not sure if it's the spices they use or the fact they double smoke these sausages, but they are extremely tasty. Better than most I've had and I've had a lot. They come in a ziplock bag for easy storage and were cheaper than most others as well. Definitely a 5 star buy

"Updated" Frankly after going through the whole pack I decided that my initial review needed an update, Initially I wasn't much found of the taste and flavor profiling but overall after eating the whole pack I can safely say these are just way much less salty than my other favorite brands so you wont feel super thirsty after eating a few pieces of it and spiciness is just right but if you are looking for something really hot and spicy I don't think this would meet your expectations. Overall will be a new addition to my list of favorites, will buy again on occasions. "Initial review" "it was my first to try these and most likely will be my last, taste was not up to my expectation overall but can't say I totally disliked them either. it's on average side of taste profile for me, and packaging could definitely improve to preserve the taste and shelf-life, perhaps have it vacuum sealed packed would be a much better idea and presentation. It will goes down to your personal preference on these if you like slightly more vinegary type of flavor."

Bought one pack last week, since then I have bought 4 more. This is the best that I have ever had. I have been purchasing different brands for years. Over the last few years I have spent several 100 dollars on all kinds, expensive, gourmet, organic, the best they had to sell. I wasn't concerned too much about the price, if it was good quality and had the taste that I was looking for. Well, here comes the facts, truth and a pure clean honest review. This stuff is NOT greasy or in any way wet, oily or lard like. It has the perfect texture and NOT soggy and in no way dry. It is absolutely PERFECT. The flavor is just the right amount of ( heat ) spice. It is not salted to where it's not edible. This sausage reminds me of the pioneer dried meat that they might have eaten back in the day. It's NOT like a Slim Jim that appears to be made from chemistry 101. It DOES NOT burn you from your throat all the way out. The price is very fair for the amount and quality, you get about 12 to 14 sticks per package. The freshness date is very acceptable and it arrived professionally packaged and in pristine condition. If you desire this type of snacks, camping or hiking staple, then buy you several packages. I honestly believe you will be very satisfied... 5-22-19 Just ordered 4 more bags, ( stocking up ). This makes 10 bags total for the past week. 01-24-22 Still buying this product, these sausages are still the same quality, still in the same fair price range. When I tell these sausages are the best that I have found on the market, it is true and I am still buying them...

I like to have easy protein snacks to eat on the go and these are pretty good. Not the best ones I've had in the past, but they are fresh and flavorful. They do taste a bit artificial to me though, like the smoke flavor feels like "liquid chemical smoke" instead of real smoky saussages. Still... if you can find them for a good price, they are a good deal and stay fresh for a while. I would probably not buy them again though and go for another option out there.

These sausages are delicious and pretty low calorie for how satisfying they are. Great texture, and I got a bonus JUMBO sausage in my bag! 😂
