Details, educated, love it

I bought this for myself, but also happened to be studying biology for GCSE's with my teen. It was body/organs week and this book came in so handy. We'd had trouble remembering where some things were, but this visual guide was great. I loved being able to explore and uncover all the layers. Also it was a well constructed book - nothing glued together or stuck. All the parts worked easily. Lots of great information.

This is ideal for anyone who wants to have an easily accessible better understanding of where various body organs are situated in relation to each other. Its 3 dimensional presentation is far superior to any series of 2 dimensional diagrams. It is not a book for young children to handle however, as well-developed motor skills are needed to avoid damaging the superbly engineered pages. Older students of biology would find it a useful and informative visual aid.
