BarflyCocktail Strainer, Gold

Bought this hoping that the Barfly name would mean something. It broke after 1 month of use. Not good quality and CERTAINLY not pro grade as Barfly would have you believe.

Maybe a defect, I understand the coating can change things but these attachment points are laughable. After 3 uses & 4 washes (hand washed) the strainer basket detached from the handle. I don’t see an option to “contact seller” on my orders page but very disappointed. Hoping this weakness is the exception and not normal.

This strainer looks nice and seems sturdy. But for being so heavy and large, I wish the basket was heavier. The handle is sturdier than the basket so you can't balance the strainer in a cup because the handle will tip it out. You have to rest it on the counter between drinks which is less ideal.

We purchased a Cocktail Kingdom coco mesh strainer on Amazon for the same price but the shipping cost was another $10. That one is the Cadillac of bar equipment. This one is almost as good for half the price when factoring in the shipping. It's a little clunkier than the Cocktail Kingdom strainer so not quite as comfortable to use on the job but works just fine for the $$. Honestly, I wouldn't have noticed had I not had the other one first.

Great for straining our cocktails, and it can be put in the dishwasher for an easy wash! Plus, in combination with cheesecloth, it's been the most perfectly sized strainer for eliminating plant matter when we make cannabis butter. You wouldn't be able to use it alone to get rid of all the fine plant bits, but with some cheesecloth, it's great.

First one i left at a friends house and decided to gift it to them. Loved it so much I order the exact same one! Aesthetically it looks amazing, but more importantly it does it’s job. It fine strains all ice pieces out of shaken cocktails leaving an awesome cocktail!

Perfect for double straining cocktails, removes all ice chips and is easy to clean
