Hawthorn has a long history of usage as a gentle heart & circulatory system tonic with an excellent safety record. Hawthorn is in the rose family. After using it for 3 months, our hearts feel stronger, better able to deal with stress. Old homeopathic doctors used this in herbal strength (not diluted as most homeopathic remedies are). It was used, not by the dropper full as the bottle recommends, but just 5, 10, 20 drops in water a few times a day over the course of weeks or months. They found the effects did not wear off when the tincture was stopped. Your health will only be as good as your weakest organ, so if your heart needs attention, this is a good place to start.

I've got atrial fibrillation (up until a few months ago, I had atrial flutter - for more than 12 years) -- and the standard beta-blockers (inderal, etc.) and calcium-channel blockers caused too many unbearable side effects (mainly a low-to-mid level depression and insomnia - sleeping 2-3 hours per DAY). If you have hypothyroidism, and you've wanted to try Super Beets but know you can't because of that hypothyroidism, this tincture will help. I did try the Super Beets and do have Hashimotos. There is no way I can absolutely say that my descent into acute Anemia is because of the dried beets supplement (and was not using the brand name) , but they do coincide. As I limped my way out, with massive Iron Supplements, added this tincture to my regime. and it gives me that same boost the beets did. Feel instantly the difference when I don't use it. Its about strengthening the heart and improving blood circulation - all of which the beet supplements promise. and since the anemia really taps out the ability to have any kind of stamina, having this boost really helps get through a day with a smile and a sense of accomplishment for getting stuff done
