Cheap. The brackets work, but the shelf clips are hard to install and do not sit flat. Received one clip that is cut straight at the bottom so it is unusable. Now I can only put in 9 shelves unless I order more clips. Unable to return because I already installed in my cabinet. Contact seller is not available as an option.

The brackets are quite sturdy but the quality assurance on the clips could have been better. Some of them were defective. Good thing that I didn't need all of them.

Just as good the the units purchased at Home Depot but delivered to my house.

This set of pilasters was easy to install by myself with the included screws. I installed the pilasters directly into wood framing studs in an unfinished part of the basement so that I could add several shelves to organize a whole bunch of stuff in the basement. I added clips (which had to be purchased separately, unfortunately) and some simple plywood shelves, covered the shelves with some adhesive vinyl just for fun, and -- ta dah! -- instant organization! I am very pleased with these. They hold a ton of stuff that I wanted to get organized, and that makes my life so much easier. Now, when I'm looking for something, I know where to look as things are in their (new) designated place and I don't have to go rooting through a bunch of boxes that were previously sitting on and stacked on the floor. So not only are items visible and sorted by type and super easy to locate, my (aging and aching) back appreciates that they are up off of the floor and also that I don't have to lift, move, and replace/restack boxes every time I'm looking for something. The basement has been waterproofed but, of course, there is no such thing as 100% waterproof, so I am also happy that I no longer have to worry about anything getting wet now that the contents of the boxes are off of the floor. However, I do feel that the set should have included clips because you can't install shelves without them. Installing the pilasters without having any clips would be a pointless exercise and serve no purpose since you need clips in order to add your shelves. For that reason, and that reason only, I have docked this item half a star. So my overall rating is 4.5 stars. Sometimes I round up and sometimes I round down, depending on the specific item and the specific circumstances. In this case, for this product, I have rounded up because that seems more fair and more fitting, particularly in the circumstances** set out below. ** It appears that the seller has taken to heart the feedback received from customers because I see that the set now comes with clips and you don't have to buy those separately (which was not the case at the time that I ordered this item which came with just the pilasters and screws.) It is very nice to see that the seller is paying attention to customer feedback and that they have adjusted the product on the basis of that feedback. As a consumer, that gives me even greater confidence in the seller and/or manufacturer, which is important to me. Overall, I am very happy with this set, and because of all of the foregoing, I am happy to give it the (rounded up) five stars that I am giving it. The pilasters are made of thick gauge metal and are absolutely solid. Look great, too, but pay attention that this is carbon steel, so it may rust over time.

These shelf tracks are strongly made in metal with carefully machined slots for the clips. The edges are smooth and there is no burring or other residue for manufacturing. They come with mounting screws but not the shelf clips, so you'll have to purchase those separately. These make for a really strong shelving system in a DIY storage unit or bookcase.
