The ignition on my 1994 Bass Tracker Pro 17TX started to have issues so I purchased this to replace it in the beginning of the season. I have been an avid boater most of my life and trust the name brand as i have used them before. It was well documented how to swap it out with the original and with a test light I was able to verify everything was wired correctly. I've had experience with cheap ignitions failing prematurely so I would avoid them at all cost the tend to fail at the worst time. I highly recommend spending a little extra and going with a good name brand you can trust and would recommend this brand over many other aftermarket brands if your in the need of a new ignition.

Seems like a good ignition switch. I have a tracker boat, but with a honda. Saw some video's on youtube that recommended this ignition switch as a direct replacement to tracker boat with Honda. Validated with online picture that with the wire colors there was only one mismatched wire color (not that wire colors can always be used by the way). The only wire that was different was different from the picture was a yellow with red stripe. I validated blue was choke, and Yellow red stripe was choke, so I ordered this key. When I received the ignition switch there was a black with Green stripe on the switch, which also didn't match, so if your weak on wiring (like I am) you start questioning all the wires. i did as much verification as i could that things were right, but then I finally took a chance and plugged this into the boat, and it seems to work perfectly. I could give this a 5 star review, but I don't like when the pictures don't match the wires of what you receive. I took one star off it all.

Worked perfectly on my 2004 bass tracker pro crappie 175 Couple less wires due to multiple extra jumper wires on the original ignition but took all of 5 minutes to install and all wire colors matched exact.

Actually works and key only comes out when it's supposed to. Took about 15 minutes to properly install and functions as it should. Bought a cheaper one and key would come out in any position. Spend the extra bucks and get this one. Great price for a quality product.

I needed an ignition for a 2005 Mercury 50 four stroke outboard. I read other reviews of this product and bought this one. Sierra is known for quality after market marine supplies. The wire colors matched and it was just a matter of connecting them together.
