Thought Slot - Refillable Journal/Diary - Pretty Pink

Update: The team at thought Slot reached out to me for the issues mentioned bellow. It was a quality issue with the specific piece i received. they were kind enough to send me a replacement for the same. Still using it to this day. Their paper quality has improved a lot since I first bought this. I bought quite a few refills over the last few months.Really appreciate the support provided by the Thought Slot team.Pros :Good quality paper. Fountain pens (lamy safari f) don't bleed through.Moderately/well pricedCons :I ordered and additional pack of thought dot books. All the notebooks have a common issue of not being able to open fully.The books are uneven and mostly warped . This seems to be due to the paper being cut unevenly or not bound properly(not an expert this is just a guess )The cover/journal was of poor quality , small cuts, poor eyelets (this may be an issue localized to my piece).The rubber bands/threads seem to be on the verge of loosing their elasticity.Note : looking at the reviews by others , I feel that a lot my issues are to do with the piece I received.

The Thought Slot cover and notebooks are excellent! Though a little expensive, it is the best I've found so far for this price in India.After about a year of extensive use as a Bullet Journal,- the cover remains sturdy and waterproof, and the elastics haven't worn out yet.- The size is good for carrying around in a bag, though a little heavy (with 4 inserts).- The paper is smooth and only has slight ghosting with ink pens. The notebooks do not lay flat when open, if that is an important point of concern.- I found the lines in the ruled notebooks a bit too widely spaced.. The Thought Grid is great for maintaining accounts. The Thought dots is my favorite for everyday planning/ idea mapping :)Overall, Thank you Though Slot for a great product!I hope it will be available in different sizes (A5) and with more pages.

Great concept, but there's room for improvement. Difficult to get rid of the plastic smell. The cover quality and design is not to my expectation.Updated on May 26:The initial disappointed faded away as started using it. The smell disappeared in a few weeks. The design did work well :) I'll give you another +1 Star to my previous 3stars. I stole one star away because I still think there's room for innovation in the product design.Thanks!

I have purchased two sets of Thought slot, initially I have not faced any trouble, recently once line refill soaking ink heavily. I am using various pens with various ink. Some of inks are rated to quick dry type like Pelikan 4001&Lamy Black, Waterman. Pens are mostly Lamy Safari(F), Lamy CP1(F), Sheaffer Award (M), Jinhao 159(M). Some times with Uniball Unipin 0.2, 0.3,0.05. The issue is with one refill and that is not usable. Each notebooks cost approx 100 bucks and if this is the quality will definitely move to moleskine or midori.

Thought Slot - Refillable Journal / Diary - Royal Blue  A simple journal with limitations of its own. It is not a journal designed for Bullet journal but CAN be used. (no page number, index page, 30 lines per page etc). For first few days I used it very carefully - and I felt the experience awful. Then I started doing everything - one book for bullet journal, or for notes and one for random scribble and I'm loving the experience. And I am glad that the journal can be refilled. :)

I am highly disappointed with this notebook. First of all this smells of rubber tyre and latex condom. I tried spraying some fragrance on it, all in vein. I am having serious concerns about the safety of the material used for the folder cover. The built quality is very poor, in fact the materials has been built by hand and I find it as a big flaw in the design. Sometimes flaw indeed is beautiful, the so called wabi Sabi in Japanese. But here, flaws have no such aesthetic attributes. It's like biscuits advertising "made by hand" popular in India. Touched by hand? Yukky! Of course, I support the spirit, in helping the local Hyderabad community workers, but given the quality of products, I'm having serious reservations about the very truth of this supposedly charity affairs. Thought Slot is a big disappointment.

A beautiful A5 size TN comes with 3 inserts and no pockets. It's a good size to put in hang bag. Adding a few charms on the band securing the tn and some pockets on the inside would be a great thing on them! Lost the journal before I could even use it.. feels bad 😢

I plan to use this for bullet journaling, and the combination of the blank/lined/dotted notebooks is actually just what I was looking for. The notebooks are sturdy and the quality of the paper is quite good-I've used gel pens and sharpies and the ink doesn't bleed. The journal cover is thick and looks great, and is the perfect size for fitting in a purse. It would be great if there were editions of these notebooks with more pages.
