Meihuaao Skinning Gambrel

Some guy probably makes these late at night in his garage. Don't expect fancy packaging. Or any packaging. Do expect to pull this out of a big plain envelope and get your hands all dirty. (Please, kind sir, wipe it down!) However, if you have been skinning groundhogs on your kitchen table, and you buy this, it will make you dance a happy dance. Really. It is very well thought out, and does its job beautifully. The cables hold and release anything you stick into them with zero effort. It is the perfect size for small game, and it won't break the bank. I have used it mostly for groundhog, but also once to pluck a 19 pound turkey. That didn't remotely tax its ability. It is made out of a solid metal bar and a pretty hefty chain, I can't imagine standard small game breaking it. (It's definitely not for deer, but that is obvious just by looking at it.) I bought this and a Havalon knife at the same time, and I cut my skinning time from 45 minutes per animal down to 15 minutes per animal. Yes, I am a beginner. But still, it made a huge difference.

I absolutely love this skinning rack! Makes skinning so much faster and easier. Mine stays outside all the time and it hasn't rusted. From small animals like groundhogs to bobcats, fox and even 50lb beavers (although it was pretty maxed out with the beavers) this piece will work perfectly!

I'm giving it 3 stars because the cable is hard to back out after you've skinned an animal. Other then that its great. It's doesn't flex when I put all my weight on it pulling down. It spins easy but also stays where you put it.

Bought mostly for chicken processing, works well for rabbits too. Sturdy enough to use for medium sized game in the Raccoon size range with no issues.

Made really well, I am very pleased with it.
