For the 8s xmaxx, is this all I need to see speed, rpm, voltage, and esc temp?

In short, yes. This will allow you to pair a smart phone with the transmitter. That then allows you to update your ESC with the newest telemetry upgrade. Once the telemetry programming has been added to the ESC, you can then read it on your phone, but you will need this part to do it.

No it will not. It works with the TQi remote. The one with the blue 'i" has the port. The model of these remotes are 6528, 6529, and 6530.Thank you,PJs RC
