Works for me many times better than the Rug Doctor products. I pre-treat spots with it full strength with a spray bottle. **Q: Do you dilute this with water?** A: I do. I do half water half solution. GREAT RESULTS. I use this on every stain. Clothes. Car seats. Rugs. Literally everything! I also use this instead of the expensive carpet cleaning solutions. **Q: Can this be added into the washing machine along couch pillow cases and etc?** A: Probably. I have used it to spot stains on clothes. I'd use a small amount of Folex and detergent, and give your load an extra rinse, just to be sure it is well rinsed out. (It may not be necessary to do an extra rinse.) I'd like to know how it works out.... **Q: Can this be used on large areas and does it have to be rinsed or extracted from carpet after use?** A: I have never rinsed and/or extracted this product, from carpeting, after use just paper towel/cloth to clean-up the stain(s). My carpeting has not shown any issues from extended use. We have used it in large, carpeted, areas as our older dog had fecal accidents, walked through and spread matter over a wide area. ## Frequently Bought Together - Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover, 128oz - Zep Premium Carpet Cleaner Shampoo - 1 Gallon (Case of 2) ECZUPXC1282 - Pro Strength Deep Cleaning and Stain Removal, Restores and Renews Worn and Soiled Carpets - P & S PROFESSIONAL DETAIL PRODUCTS - Xpress Interior Cleaner - Perfect for Safely Removing Traffic Marks, Dirt, Grease, and Oil; Works on Leather, Vinyl, and Plastic; Fresh Scent (1 Gallon) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/7895184-folex-instant-carpet-spot-remover-128oz](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/7895184-folex-instant-carpet-spot-remover-128oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
