Great Vacuum Lid for Regular Mouth Jars
This product is a phenomenal invention! - Just place the vac lid on top of the jar and suck the air out from the jar with the vacuum pump. A free vacuum hose adapter is also available with the order, which you can attach to the port of your electric vacuum machine. Immediately after you place your order, write the seller to send you the vacuum hose adapter if you want to use it with your vacuum machine. - I prefer the manual vacuum pump because it fits into our kitchen drawer and it is always at hand. I recommend that you gently press down the button on the lid before you start pumping. This ensures that the O-ring under the button is snug and seals well. Once you evacuate the air from the jar, you can store your juice, fresh fruit and other food items for several days, significantly extending their freshness. I like the convenience of opening the vacuum lid by gently lifting the button in the center. (Other lids without the vacuum button need to be opened with a knife of spoon at the edge of the lid. This may damage the lid.) The seller was very friendly, and highly cooperative. He went out of his way to develop a new product for us, a vacuum stopper for Traders Point milk bottles, in which we store citrus and green juices. So glad I found these lids!
The lids work great! I have been searching for something simple to seal the air out of mason jars. So glad I came across these! Very easy to use! Keeps parishable foods and produce fresh for days longer! Especially lettuce! Great quality too! I highly recommend these lids!

It works amazingly well
I set out to replace another jar sealing device that was loaned out and never returned. I couldn't find one on Amazon or anywhere else online - for a price that was anything close to reasonable (I bought my initial one for about $10 at Walmart). Anyway - I saw this product and since I did need a vacuum sealer for wide mouth Mason jars I ordered one. Coming out of the package I was skeptical. Now after a few weeks of use I find that this holds a vacuum as well as my prior device. I really like this and will keep using their products. This was purchased for full price and I have no relationship with the seller or manufacturer. I would like to get a few more wide mouth lids. Nice - it works

Don't always reseal
I spent the money thinking that since they were reusable--I would recoop. However, some seem to lose their seal. I have had better luck with the regular lids and the vacum attachment to use with them.
