Inexpensive and works great.
Use this meter to align my DirecTv high-definition dish. High winds knock it out of alignment. You will need a short (3-4 feet) piece of coaxial cable also. Install it between the dish and your existing cable. Meter is very sensitive. You will have to decrease the gain quickly or the meter will burn out.

Useless piece of junk
Piece Of Junk. Lights up and makes noise, but doesn’t do anything else. It can’t find any satellites. Phenomenal waste of money. Shame on this seller!

Works good for finding a satellite signal.
Works great. I have used far more expensive military and commercial grade signal meters. This is accurate and effective for a buyer on a budget. I was ET NUCLEAR SUB CORPS and also I'm a CNE (Certified Network Engineer) I can say as a professional this product is worth the money.

Excellent value
I just used it once, but it worked and gave me the result I needed.

Exactly what I needed
5 stars because after 2 days of trying to lock on (or even find) Galaxy 18 with only a lock/no lock indicator to go by, this meter was exactly what I needed and at a price that you really can't beat. Once I had this meter in hand, I was locked on to the satellite within about 30 minutes. Here was my recipe for success with this thing 1. Used a compass and inclinometer phone app to get a rough idea of where the satellite is supposed to be in the sky and pointed my dish there 2. Turned the adjustment dial on the side of the meter all the way up (max gain?) - it beeped and showed 99% 3. Turned the adjustment dial on the side down until the meter barely registered a signal (5-30%) 4. Made minor adjustments to the dish alignment (ele and az) based on feedback on the meter until I was maxed out again (99%) 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until it the signal was as good as I could get it 6. I then tweaked the LNB skew and forward/back position in the holder with the same method. I can't speak to the long term durability or quality of the device but it does what is advertised and, again, you can't beat the price. 5/5 would buy again.
