Faulty insulation causing shorting between wires inside.
The insulation on at least 2 of the individual colour cores does not cover the wire strands, causing intermitent shorting between wires (red and yellow in my case - see picture attached) on the inside of the cable. This fault occurs along the whole length. Utter garbage.
