Dual Lock Folding Camping Chair - Hanami Pink

Besides being a wonderful shade of sage green, the chair is sturdy and roomy. I have mobility issues and it is easy to get out of. I love that it has two different size cup holders so it will hold my large water mug. I have nice sturdy folding chairs for when I go camping but they are too heavy for me to carry to another site or to something like an outdoor concert. This chair is lighter but just as comfortable.

These chairs are easy to open/close and very comfortable to sit in. I am 5'4" and 150lbs, not tiny bit not huge either, just normal. I got these chairs to replace my old school bag chairs after sitting in my sister's flat bottom style bag chair - SOOOO much better than the old saggy bottom and slouchy back style. Totally worth the money if you're going to be spending a lot of time in one - like camping or at kids athletic games like I am. I did read the reviews and after having used them 3-4 times a week for a month I really haven't noticed any fraying or wear/tear. I am also treating them fairly nicely since at $42 each they aren't exactly cheap for my family. I try to take care of things that I want/need to last a long time. Anyway, the material is sturdy and comfortable to sit on in shorts or even a wet bikini (which is something to note as old style bag chairs really suck to have your skin on and some mesh fabrics are abrasive). They open and lock which I love because I'm constantly piling my stuff on the chair and dragging it all to another field or campsite so that it doesn't collapse while being carried is very nice feature - plus it is safer and more stable when kids are climbing all over them like they do. I really like that the arms are wide like old style bags so that your whole arm is comfortable. The two cup holders are big enough for a stainless thermal 12oz wine cup to fit which is great - any can, bottle or yeti type tumbler will fit too. There is a good size misc bag/pouch attached to the bottom of the seat on one side which is great as it kind of hides whatever you stuck in there out of plain sight - it fit my iPhone 8, 10oz tube of sunscreen and 5oz stick sunscreen with room for more. The bag is a sturdy canvas and the right size so it's easy to put over the collapsed chair - you wont feel like you are fighting the bag. The shoulder strap fits over the chair back so it wont get lost or blow away. I wanted the aqua/turquoise color but it wouldn't arrive on time so we got the royal blue which is nice and vivid. So far I am very happy with the chairs and definitely suggest them if you are looking to upgrade to the flat bottom bag style chair without spending $60+ per chair. I will continue to keep in mind that some have had wear/tear issues and endeavor to treat them nicely.

When searching for a quality camp chair, I kept going back and forth between these two. First, I ordered the chair on the left by EA "Ever Advanced". I'm 5'1" and 165 lbs. and wanted a sturdy but easy to carry camp chair. The EA chair has a higher back and since I'm short, it definitely supported my head with room to spare when I leaned back. This chair advertises "lumbar support" and it's well made with a padded back and seat, but the reason why it gives you lumbar support is because it's a sling chair...your own weight molds the seating to your back. It has one cup holder, soda can sized, that is thickly insulated and one large open pocket on the right side for your phone and keys; no zipper closure. The pocket is sewn of both fabric and mesh. The armrests are padded and comfortable and they are height-adjustable. The chair doesn't have an attached strap but there is one on the carry bag. The chair weighs 8.5 lbs and supports up to 300 lbs. I was a bit unhappy that the sling-style EA chair was a little difficult to get out of. My older knees sometimes need a firmer seat to help with standing. So, I ordered the "Dual Lock" camp chair on the right by Kijaro. This chair locks open and the seat is very firm. Easy to rise out of. Again, my short height enabled my head to be supported when I leaned back. Taller folks won't have a head rest. The chair also locks when closed. Not tightly closed, but enough so that when I threw the chair's built-in strap over my shoulder in order to carry it without putting it back into its bag, the chair didn't fully open. This chair weighs 1 lb. heavier than the EA chair but honestly, I didn't notice the difference between the two when I had them over my shoulder. The Kijaro chair also supports up to 300 lbs. The Kijaro chair's back has a slight lean-back angle to it; it's not a straight-backed chair. I might tuck a rolled hand towel behind my back if I feel the need for lumbar support. The Kijaro chair has two cup holders made of plastic mesh. Not sure how sturdy they will prove to be. One is soda can-sized and the other one is slightly larger and would hold a no-handle-style, cylindrical travel coffee mug or a Starbucks frap drink cup. There is a very nice pocket to hold your gear on the right side of the chair; it's a little hard to see in the pic. It's sewn of fabric and mesh, and has a zippered main compartment as well as two open pockets on the outer face that are cell phone-sized. I really like the zippered pocket; a great idea for keys and other small items that you dare not lose. I also like the thick, reinforced binding along the edges of this chair and the pocket. Decorative as well as durable. Love the turquoise color! Both camp chairs are well made. The EA chair has more padding; the Kijaro chair is a firmer sit. Both chairs were comfortable on the back of the thighs; no pinching. They both have comfy, padded arm supports and the seats were both wide enough that I had room to spare. The EA chair has a carry bag made of softer nylon material and the end where the feet go is padded. The Kijaro chair's carry bag is made of a stiffer nylon material with no padding at the feet end of the bag. They close with locking drawstrings. Both carry bags have shoulder straps. Because of all of the nice padding, the EA chair is more difficult to put into its bag. The Kijaro chair has less padding to fold up and also has that lock-closed feature which helps when putting it back into the carry bag. Both chairs have non-breathable seating surfaces but the Kijaro chair has a mesh back for air circulation while the EA chair does not. Bring a terry towel to sit on to keep your fanny dry! I hope that this comparison is helpful as you search for the perfect camp chair. Personally, the Kijaro chair wins over the EA chair.

I needed four chairs, so I ordered four different chairs with similar styles and with similarly high ratings because I just couldn't tell which one I wanted. In addition to this Kijaro chair ($40), I ordered (all from Amazon): (1) Browning Camping Strutter Hunting Chair ($55) (2) ALPS Mountaineering King Kong Chair ($60) (3) Coleman Portable Camping Quad Chair with 4-Can Cooler ($35) They were all fine, but each one had a small demerit except this one. This one was my favorite overall for two main reasons: It was the most comfortable and it has TWO sizes of cup holders. One is smaller for cans and beer bottles, and one is larger for bigger cups/mugs. It was the only chair with a cup holder big wide enough for my plastic, stemless wine glasses. Bravo to the designer for the attention to detail. I'm smaller so it felt plenty sturdy to me, but my 200-lb husband also thought it was plenty sturdy, especially for the chair's light weight. Another great feature is the breathable mesh backing. I live in Texas so this was really important for summer use. I love the push button release to collapse the chair to pack it up. This feature was unique to this chair. It was super easy to pack it back into its carrier. And at $40, I think this one was a deal. We haven't used any of the chairs yet but I'll provide an update if anything goes wrong. Comments on the other chairs relative to this one: (1) Browning Camping Strutter Hunting Chair ($55) -- no cup holders; of course this is obvious when you buy it so no surprise; positive is that it was very comfortable to me (5'6, 140 lbs); also, it was the only other chair out of the 4 with a breathable mesh backing; it was also lightweight (~7lbs) and easy to repack; this was the only low-to-the-ground chair I bought and I liked it, but I think the price is a little too high considering it is no where near as substantial as the King Kong one which was almost the same price. (2) ALPS Mountaineering King Kong Chair ($60) -- extraordinarily sturdy and wider than the other three but you "pay" for for the extra tough engineering and extra space in terms of weight; it's heavy (~13 lbs); the seat padding was also double thick compared to the others; the thick material was very comfortable and would be great in cold weather but probably not on a hot summer day; overall this chair is very comfortable and very nice, but it is more than I need; I think someone who was 275+ lbs would really like/need this chair; the price was excellent considering it's quality; one last thing; because the seating fabric is so robust, this one was the hardest to put back into the carrying bag. Still, I like the chair a lot. (3) Coleman Portable Camping Quad Chair with 4-Can Cooler ($35) -- I found this one to be the least comfortable; I wouldn't call it uncomfortable but it wasn't as comfortable as the other three; there's just something different about the angle, or weight distribution or something; the zip-up armrest cooler, which looks like it could hold 3-4 cans, is a nice touch, especially if you're in very hot weather, but I just don't see why anyone would take drinks out of the actual cooler to put them in the armrest cooler. Also, once you've opened up a can, you're not likely to put it down into the armrest cooler bc it could tip over inside, unless maybe you fill the armrest cooler with ice or other unopened cans?; also, this one was a little heavier than the others at 8.42 lbs (except for the ultra-sturdy King Kong); it felt sturdy, but not really sturdier than it's lighter weight counterparts; the polyester fabric felt nice and I think it will be very durable.

I am happy with my purchase and pretty much agree with the good reviews here. I got it in red because it was on sale for $30, and I feel like it was a fair deal. Although I haven't used it yet, upon initial inspection it appears to be sturdy and of good quality, and it works as advertised. I like that it locks closed and open, and as someone else mentioned, it's nice that there's a strap on the chair itself (as opposed to only on its carrying pouch) so that you have the option of not bothering with the pouch. I bought it for a camping trip and I expect it to serve my needs. As mentioned in other reviews, it is roomy (width-wise), and I love the little cup holders and the little organizer that hangs off the seat (will be so great for my phone and reading glasses). They are made of netting material, so I don't know how long they would hold up to heavy use, we'll see how it goes. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think the seat depth is a little short. I would prefer that the edge of the seat were closer to my knees, and I'm just a 5'5" girl. I would think this might bother someone taller even more. For my body type, it's not that comfortable to sit with my legs on the floor for an extended period of time. The back leans back in a comfortable fashion, but that contributes to the feeling that you're sliding forward a little in the seat, which is very slight but still enough to make the seat depth feel even shorter. So I would say that if the back tilt were adjustable that would help (because if it could be made more vertical that would alleviate some of the sliding forward feeling), or if the seat could be deeper that would help. Or if it were a little lower to the ground that might help, too. Or I can maybe find a log or something to use as an ottoman because this whole arrangement makes it much more comfortable to put my feet up somehow. At least because it's wide I can easily sit in it cross-legged or maybe just bring one foot up on the seat (solutions that most big dudes probably won't find useful). However, I admit I'm not all that anxious to be walking around in dirt and leaves of a campsite and then put my feet on my nice new chair. So all that was a lot of words to say that ideally it would be best to go to a store and try out a bunch of different chairs so that you can pick one for your particular body type. Unfortunately, today's retail environment doesn't often provide those kinds of opportunities anymore. I won't return this chair because I like it, it was reasonably priced, and I won't be using it very often. If I were going to be using it on a super regular basis I would probably return it, but only because of personal fit, not because of quality.

Love this chair. Wide seat and high enough for me to get up and down easily. I take it everywhere. My grandchildren softball and baseball games. The color is beautiful. The support is great and light enough for me to carry anywhere.

Really comfortable and seem to be well made! Have had only a couple months but did a lot of researching and decided to purchase these above many others. Pretty sure it was a wise purchase.

These chairs are great! They fold and unfold easily, are easy to pack up and carry, and are actually super comfortable! They are holding up well, too. Very happy with this purchase.

Received this chair very quickly. It is extremely sturdy and comfortable. Love that it has 2 cup holders and a small pouch on the side. It is longer than other ones folded up but better quality of construction. Love it

Me gusto la silla porque es práctica, no muy pesada, y super cómoda. El material es resistente y el precio es justo.

My husband and I splurged a little and bought two of these for camping. We love them! He loves that it is a slightly higher, wider chair that offers a lot of support. It is a bit high for me to sit with my legs down, but I love that it is a bit wider because I usually sit with one or both legs under me anyway, so it is very comfortable for that. The colours are very fun (I got purple; he got blue). Because of the great way they sit when opened, they don't fold up with the legs even, so you can't leave them to stand alone when collapsed. They do open up and collapse easily though. They are also a bit longer when collapsed then other brands, but we are happy to accommodate both of those things because they are wonderful chairs to sit and relax in.
