Works great. Entities pickup up by Home assistant zigbee2MQTT. Signal is solid.

After an hour or two of config in Home Assistant, this device is working as advertised. I'm happy about that, because I bought 5 of them. What do I love? 4 buttons, 4 possible actions on each button. 16 combinations. What do I wish I knew ahead of time? The Sonoff documentation states (as of 27 Jan 2026) "*Currently, using Orb 4-In-1 with ZHA requires downloading the ZHA script. You can click here to download the instructions and files:.....(link redacted)" The overhead of loading the quirks and backing up my HA configs led me to drop a star. That script includes the quirks file that makes those four buttons and four actions actually visible to Zigbee Home Assistant. Out of the box, button 1 short press, button 1 on, button one off come through as events, but button 2, 3, 4 come through as step and stop events. This is interesting on its own, because it seems these can be configured to act as continuous press (think roller blinds) inputs, in addition to simple switches. Nevertheless, load the quirks file, restart, and shazaam! multi-scene multi-way control from a single button cluster. My use case is simple --> I've grown tired of "Alexa, turn [on|off] <thing>", but don't want the headache of post-installing a complex panel for the simple case of flipping a switch on and off. But I've also embedded remote devices all over (garden, office, library, tv room, bedroom, blah, blah, blah).

OMG .. I LOVE this thing! I struggled at first to get this connected and setup in my Home Assistant application. However, after an extensive of the interweb, I found a 'Blueprint' that works flawlessly. I am not including a link to any Blueprints as it depends on what version and connectivity you need. Simply search using the EXACT model number (SZBN-01M). I can tell you, if you do the research and install the correct Blueprint that matches your switch and HA integration, this thing is FIRE!! Once the Blueprint is added to HA, connection, installation and configuration of the switch is a breeze. If I had a complaint, the only issue I have is that the switch is round and not square, although it does comes with a square, magnetic base. I'd prefer the whole switch to be square, but that is just a personal preference. It's shape certainly does not take anything away of its function. Did I mention, I LOVE the thing?!?!?

It’s really handy device that has good connection and is reliable…. When you can find it, haha. Why this doesn’t have any sort of beep or sound function that you can trigger when it is lost is beyond me because it is very small and it gets lost a lot. Also, from a design standpoint, the little raised dots to identify the buttons 123 and 4 is very clean and nice, but you can’t see them because they’re the same color as the button and incredibly small. These should have been a different color. I had to mark mine with my own labels

Excellent once you figure out how to install in Home Assistant. Directions could be better, there is a file that needs to be downloaded, unzipped. This provides directions how to update Home Assistant.

The only Zigbee device I've ever had problems with in my Home Assistant setup. Most devices do a good job letting you know in advance if they are Zigbee2MQTT (Z2M) only vs Zigbee for Home Assistant (ZHA). This device is pretty much worthless if you run ZHA, as I am. I only got single presses visible in Home Assistant when listening for Zigbee events and only on 3 of the buttons. If you use Z2M it sounds like it will work just fine with one of the available blueprints. If you use ZHA I wouldn't touch this device with a 10' pole.

I like that it's pure zigbee. I was able to configure all 4 buttons with home assistant after some effort.

Neat little device, managed to connect direct to Samsung SmartThings without seperate bridge, just had to download some drivers into ST’s gateway took minutes including googling. Stuck it to wall great. 4 buttons each with 4 press options (single double triple, hold) which can be programmed for anything in ST’s, very pleased for price

Ein richtig tolles Teil der Schalter hat soviel Funktionen insgesamt 16 Schaltvorgänge sind möglich. Batterie soll 5 Jahre halten. Mal sehen.
