Great for keto
I was surprised to see how many carbs were in coconut flour and almond flour. This is important when every carb counts. And I was looking for a flour I could use for my little granddaughter, who is allergic to both wheat and nuts (both peanuts and tree nuts). I decided to try this after looking at tigernut flour, which is also fairly high in carbs. I made a mug muffin to compare three different flours. The coconut flour muffin was very dry and unpleasant to eat. Almond flour was better but still dry. The sunflour was absolutely perfect, moist and delicious. Since then, I've also used it in keto pancakes. It's delicious but the color is a little off-putting. It turns the pancakes gray, but I can overlook that for the better flavor. Because I use cocoa powder in the mug muffin, it disguises the gray color. To try the experiment yourself, this is the recipe I used for the mug muffin:Melt two Tbsp butter in mug in the microwaveAdd two rounded teaspoons of cocoa powder, stirring with a forkAdd two rounded Tbsp flour of your choiceAdd one Tbsp swerve or equivalentAdd two packets splenda or equivalentAdd 1/2 tsp baking sodaAdd 1/2tsp vanillaStir with a fork until well incorporatedAdd one egg, beating with the fork until smoothCook in microwave on high for 70 secondsEnjoy!

Love this product!
This is my second review for Think Eat Live Sunflower flour. I ran out so quickly and have to purchase it again...even before my auto-shipment arrived. I just used it to make a delicious pizza crust, and red velvet chocolate cupcakes. I'll never be without this product!!

Great for autoimmune diet
I have allergies to gluten, coconut and almonds so I am running out of options for baking and staying low carb. I madee some rolls with this flour and they were quite tasty. They will be a little dense and heavy but it is nice to be able to eat some bread again. Just wish it weren't so pricey.

This is a good substitute for plain white flour.
I gave up gluten years ago and it helped me to keep off 10 pounds so I still am, overall, gluten free and this is a wonderful substitute for regular white flour. I've used it by itself but generally use it combined with a little almond flour and a smidgen of coconut flour to make it last as it's a small bag with an expensive price. That said it has given me moist brownies all by itself as well as moist gingerbread and pumpkin muffins. If it came in bulk I'd happily buy that but as it is it works really well so I pay up for a good product.

It bakes/cooks like regular
This product is exactly what we needed for my GF husband! I love to cook and bake but since he had to go GF a few years ago our menu got kind of limited. Other GF flours are either full of carbs or just don’t work as well as regular flour but this is a perfect replacement. I’m really happy that I found it!

Great flour substitute.
I generally use a lot of nut based flours for my kid who can't have gluten, however, nuts aren't allowed in schools, so I bought this to use. It works perfectly in any recipe I have in place of almond/nut flour. It is a little pricy, but all nut/gluten free flours are. The only downside to this flour is the color. I think it mostly happens when the batter sits longer, but I've found the muffins I made got a weird greenish tint to them sometimes. The flavor is fine, but as some kids are super picky about color and even I found it slightly off putting. However, it was fine. I really think its a reaction to air/liquid though as I made a double batch of muffins, then realized I only had one pan. The first batch looked normal, while they were cooking the batter in the bowl started changing color and the next batch looked a bit different. I find myself reaching for this flour more and more and haven't found a recipe my kids haven't enjoyed with it.
