Made a huge difference in my hand tendinitis pain
I love this thing! Yes, it hurts a little at first, but it's a good hurt that results in much less hurt later. The pain is from inflammation, and the massage reduces the inflammation. I do it before bed, and my hands are much less stiff in the morning.I have tendinitis in my hands, mostly thumbs. I've been using a small massage ball and ice/heat to help them, but as soon as I started using the Roleo every day, I got the most improvement. I was concentrating just on my hands before, but the forearm massage has made tremendous relief. This does a great job on the wrist and heel of the hand too.If you read the instructions, it's all there: 1.It will hurt at first, but will improve, 2. Start out on the lightest pressure, 3.Run your entire hand and forearm slowly back and forth up to the elbow.I push my arm back and forth, turning my arm a little each pass to get every muscle, and it makes my hands feel better too. After 3-5 minutes, my arm and hand feels warm and relaxed. So far, I haven't put the suction cups on. I like to rotate it around my arm to get every angle.I still like to use the massage ball to really get into the muscles and tendons around my knuckles and fingers/thumbs, because it doesn't really do much for them specifically. But it's amazing how much it helps them.It doesn't pull my arm hair like some say, but I can see where a long sleeved shirt would help if it did. Some say it seems cheaply made, but it seems like good quality plastic. I've been using it for a few weeks, and got way more massages out of it for 50 bucks than if I went to a masseur! If it breaks, I'll come back here and update for that.

Worth every penny
It is extremely rare that I write a review for a product. It's just not something I do even if I like the product, but I have to make an exception for this one. I have purchased other products in the past to help relieve pain in my arms, hands and wrists due to carpel tunnel syndrome. I have to say this Roleo Massager is by far THE BEST product yet. The raised parts on the top roller work perfect to loosen the knots on top of the forearm where the two muscles split back by the elbow. That is where my arms hurt the worst. After using the Roleo for a few minutes my arms and hands feel lighter and less stressed. The pain and tightness just seemed to melt away. I have gone to a massage therapist many times in the past to work on my hands and arms which helped a lot. It will be great to have my arms massaged whenever needed and at a fraction of the cost of to going to a therapist often. I received my Roleo in the mail today and it's already paid for itself. Kudos to Paul Kleiman (inventor of the Roleo) for such an amazing job with this product. I highly recommend the Roleo Massager to anyone suffering from pain in their hands or arms.

Product Seems to Work Well; Packaging Questionable
I have just begun using this product as part of my regimen for repetitive strain injuries in my forearms and wrists. I work an office job, play guitar and drums, and lift weights regularly; all of which has caught up to my wrists (not to mention I believe my family has a genetic predisposition to these issues due to our forearms development). The fact that I can get a decent trigger point massage without using my other arm in the process is really, really nice. For my repetitive strain, I've used a lacrosse ball as well as something more blunt like the butt end of a sharpie or pen, or even the edge of a desk, to apply varying amounts of pressure to my wrist extensors. This generally results in increased tenderness of the muscles for a brief period, followed by a gradual relaxation that allows my wrist to function without pain or weakness (I have successfully used a similar process on my jaw muscles to mitigate TMJ pain in the jaw). This product assists in massaging the extensors as well as the flexors on the other side, which really helps to provide relief. It also helps to massage the tendons near the wrist, which helps with thumb pain and range of motion limitations. As far as the product itself goes, so far so good. However, the product arrived bare in only the product box, which was slightly damaged and left me wondering if there was any damage to the product or if there would be any missing items. Though it appears the unit is safe and I have received the additional contents (instructions, suction cups, & a cheap orange finger massager device), this method of shipment does not provide much confidence that the unit would arrive without damage.I will update this post as I continue to use this device as part of my routine to mitigate wrist pain to gauge its overall effectiveness over other methods, though at this point I would say- if you struggle with forearm tightness, thumb and/or wrist pain, I would definitely give this a try.

Cheaply built, may malfunction
Cheaply built. Arrived with plastic burrs on the ends of the rollers, stopping the rollers from turning. I had to squeeze in there with a hobby knife to trim those off. Then i scrubbed them smooth with a fingernail emory board. Device rolls better now.If i wasn't an engineer capable of fixing the burrs myself, this device would have been returned. Also the springs are loud and noisy, disturbing my colleagues. That's the build quality i expect for $5, not for $50.Jury is still out on whether it actually helps my mouse elbow at all.UPDATE: Months later, the seller has provided a refund due to the problems with build quality. Also I did find that it helped my mouse elbow, but only by using it contrary to the instructions, which say to keep it below the elbow joint at all times. I had to bring it slightly above the elbow to reach my inflamed tendons. Upgraded my review to 3 stars.
