These are great rugged chopsticks and every morning I stir my coffee with one and then later eat my lunch with two. Dishwasher safe.

These are longer than Japanese chopsticks, more along the lines of Chinese. 10.75" is a surprisingly large amount longer than the standard 8" or so of Japanese, so if you're used to shorter chopsticks you may have difficulty with these. However, they are excellent chopsticks. A strong black plastic, very easy to clean and care for, and very easy to use. Others have said they're slippery, but I've found that these tend to grip rice much more easily than the ceramic chopsticks I used for a while. The plastic is very durable, which means they are break resistant, and they are also very good for cooking with. I use them when cooking in smaller pots, as the plastic doesn't conduct as much heat, and doesn't scratch nonstick. This ten pack is great for those that may be a bit clumsier, as there's plenty of spares should some break. They're also great for entertaining, allowing for cheap, durable, easy-to-clean, reusable eating utensils.

These chopsticks are a great simple set of chopsticks. We had a set of wooden chopsticks that the finish was coming off of, so we purchased these as a replacement. They are easy to clean, and easy to use.

I have a set of these and a set of metal chopstick that I use for everyday eating and they work great. I've had them for about a year now and they've held up great to daily use and the dishwasher. One did chip a bit, but that's pretty good for the use they've gotten.

I bought these chopsticks because I eat sushi regularly and was tired of using the wooden ones that get tosses away. These chopsticks are nice and durable and I haven't had any problems with them in the dishwasher. They do fall through the cracks in my flatware basket though, even turned upside down so I have to lay them long ways with the rest of my large utensils.

I sought out black chopsticks of a material like this so that they would not stain. I had a couple of the ivory-ish colored ones somehow, but they developed unsightly stains over time. I figure these won't do that, and being that they are a sturdy plastic should be dishwasher safe. Of course, being the restaurant style plastic chopsticks, they are a bit slippery, but that shouldn't be a problem for the seasoned user.
