Cuts Foam like Butter
I don't know how I survived for years cutting styrofoam with knives and dental floss. With this tool, it's like cutting butter that has been left out of the fridge for the entire day. My main struggle with it has been that it moves through the styrofoam too easily and too quickly. I've had to adjust my technique, being very careful and controlled, to get a smooth edge instead of one that is wavy like bric brac or looks like Donald Trump's hair on an especially windy day. Totally cheap and worth it for the time and frustration is saves. This heats up quickly, stays hot, and gets the job done. I do with though that there were some more safety features added on. The stand seems kinda flimsy and it's hard to know if it is hot. Make sure to unplug it immediately whenever you step away and to make sure that children, partners, etc know the danger. That said, this is a lot of fun to use. I've been going down to the loading dock in my building and grabbing the styrofoam that people throw out when they get a new TV to practice with and to make some interesting items. For Halloween I used this to make a mini "surfboard" that I fitted around my ankles (right above the tops of my shoes) as art of my Silver Surfer costume. With this tool, I was able to get the cuts precise enough that the styrofoam stayed on my feet for a few hours. They would have stayed on the whole night if it was not for a very drunk (but nice) man who stepped on them and snapped one of the pieces off.

Great price, serve purpose very well, and durable
Love them, I got two, obviously one for standard and the other for metric. I only have my open face box wrenches in them, probably 4 complete to nearly complete sets. It's a little busy/crowded where the meet in the middle, but it works, and I love that I can just roll it out, and wham I have a place for them while I work. I keep the super small wrenches in the zipper pocket. That works, but awful spot for allen wrenches.

Broke after 1 hour of use
This works well for its purpose, but is very cheaply made. After using the long wand attachment for about an hour, it stopped working. I opened the base of the attachment and found the red wire had disconnected from the metal tube that holds the heating element. I was able to repair this by re-soldering it. So the device works again, but it's annoying that I had to repair it when it was right out of the box.

Hot knife foam cutter
We tried using the foam cutter for some foam insulation that was 2" thick. It started out great, had to move a little slowly, but before I could even finish the first cut, it broke. Was able to put it sort of back together, but was useless for the job. Tried the wire cutter, it would not come on at all. Took it apart and moved some of the parts and got it to work finally. It worked much better on the foam. Overall, it may work for smaller projects, but it didn't meet my expectations for my particular job.

Easy to use
In retrospect Iโm sure this was designed to cut polystyrene. I however used to cut seating foam. The semicircular attachment worked very well, easy to use and cut through the foam like a knife through soft butter. When I tried the short piece however it broke. I guess it was not designed for this stuff.

Right tool for the job
This is a very specific tool made to cut styrofoam. It has one job, and does it well. If you are using styrofoam in your hobby work, this tool is for you! Disclaimer: do not let children use this, and caution for adults is also needed. The tools involved are unshielded hot metal rods and wires. As with any tool, use common sense and be aware of the hazards. Cutting styrofoam any other way is virtually impossible. Hot knives are the best. Hobby on!

Great
So much better than the woodland series one Ive been using. This one is made solid and doesnโt go through as much wire. I make my own packing peanuts out of used styrofoam from other packing. I only use the wire not the other attachments. For what I use it for it works great!

Poorly Made Product
I ordered this product specifically to use the foam wire cutter, however the base of the attachment was TOO LARGE to fit into the base and was totally useless. The knife attachment worked well at first, however it snapped while cutting through a thick block of polystyrene. I could see it working well on a less dense material. The engraving tool works very nicely.
