Perfect Fit on 2010 Ford Ranger (Passenger Side) - Super Easy Installation
Debris on the roadway hit the passenger side mirror on my 2020 Ford Ranger and broke the mirror glass. This was a perfect replacement and installed in seconds. Backing plate matched up perfectly to factory mount. No adhesive to worry about.

Much better with the backing plate
I have used several of these diy type mirrors but I found this to be superior. I have always received mirrors that you have to glue on or install with the 3m double sided tape. I have never had issues but I am not confident that the tape will hold up. This, I purchased for a 2009 ford ranger pickup and it was quite a pleasant experience to install and the fitment was right on. Even more important this type with the plastic backing I can use a silicone adhesive and I am more confident that it will hold plastic to plastic. I do believe if you still have your existing clips you can use them as well. ln addition to the plastic backing the mirror itself has a better view, clearer view. Moving forward I will always look for these replacement mirrors with the backing before going for the plain mirror glass. For a few dollars more than the plain mirror glass style its a no brainer to choose this one.

Did not fit 2008 Explorer XLT.
Part was fine quality. Purchased this with the hope it would fit as explained. As with other commenter, this does not fit a 2008 Ford Explorer XLT, OEM is round, this is oblong. Do not purchase if your OEM attachment is round.

Had a 08 tanager with a broken driver side mirror. Snapped the old one off and the new one just snapped right on. So far so good
