Small but powerful!
It is smaller than I thought, but wow! Holds a lot of quilting cutting templates! Very happy with this.

Sturdy, holds a LOT, and beats losing everything under fabric.
I first saw the Your Nest organizer in a quilt shop but they were all out of stock. The price for them on amazon is aprox. the same as the shop's. I'd first wanted the Nest to keep my "That Purple Thang", snipping scissors, tweezers, pencils, mini square, and seam ripper handy while sewing, but while I was waiting for my Organizer order to arrive I came up with another, better method for keeping those sewing notions close. SO, I will be using the "Nest" on my cutting table instead to keep my rotary cutter, frixion pen and quilting rulers handy instead of constantly losing them under the fabric I'm working with. HERE'S WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT...it is small enough not to take up too much space and make me feel claustrophobic from table clutter. It does hold even my 6" x 24" acrylic ruler and other longer rulers (like wedges) easily and without tipping! Even if I put them in vertically instead of horizontally, if I put them in the middle of the cube...IMPRESSIVE! Granted, the rulers don't just slip in and out of the nest as easily as the effort it takes to just lay them on the table, but they go in quite easily enough that it will be worth the minimal extra effort simply to keep track of them. It is a great way to keep track of my mini rulers, which otherwise quickly get lost in creative mayhem. Frixion pens and my chalk wheel fit nicely into the little pockets in front, and I really like the dip created for my rotary cutter. Even with all of these items in the cube, there is still enough room for it to hold my reading/sewing glasses, small scissors, and a seam ripper. The one thing I don't like is that the frixion pens and my mechanical pencils with the rubber grip don't push very easily into the "hairy" part of the cube so that it could hold more of them. I'm a little apprehensive that I will be able to get into the habit of using the cube instead of distractedly laying everything down somewhere on my cutting table, and likewise that I will be able to get used to it setting on my cutting table to begin with. BUT, given that I waste a lot of time looking for stuff I'd laid somewhere, I'm definitely going to give it a try, and it may even save me a few rotary cutter blades from my not hitting a stray ruler that got buried. (I'm going to find a way to attach a pin cushion to the cube yet, so as to really have everything in just one place.)

Fantastic sewing or quilting project organizer!
When I first saw this item in a quilting store, I thought $18.95 for a small object that is made out of rubber was just ridiculous. I have completely changed my mind. It’s a very attractive square and it seemed like it possibly could be useful. Oh my goodness! I’m so glad I bit the bullet and bought one off of Amazon. It was a hard tossup between turquoise and flamingo pink. However pink won out. The great thing about this is that it has so many different slots that are useful for so many different items that you could use. Or NEED to use. I am a quilter and a sewer. There are three little kind of deep slots in the front. Sometimes I put my snips in those with the point down in because it’s rubber, the point does not get bent or anything and also the point does not go into the table. Then behind that it has kind of a wide slot that you can lay something down in again snips or scissors could lie in there. The rubber fingers that stick up for about half of it are excellent for putting small rulers in. You can also stand a pen upright or other marking or writing utensil. I usually have a marking pen, a marking pencil, and a chalk pencil that I keep by my side. In addition to rulers I also can put in a pack or two of sewing needles for my machine when I want to change out as you are supposed to change needles frequently once you finish projects and so forth. Also a lint cleaning brush can stand up. besides that I tend to go from project to project, as in quilting piecing and switching over to something needing a universal, or switching again to needing a jeans needle for something heavier duty. Even though it appears to be small and is only about 5 inches square, because you can hold things upright in it, it’s easy to jam pack a lot of different sewing notions and items in this little holder. At the very back I have a thimble over one of the little fingers. I also have a small sewing gauge that is about 2“ x 3“ which is metal and that I can stand upright in between one of the Rows of fingers. All in all, this is probably one of the greatest sewing tools that I’ve had the chance to purchase over the past several months. Because it is so versatile and can hold so many sewing items it is just phenomenal. So glad I Purchased this! So worth the money.

Perfect tool for beside my sewing machine
I ended up buying 2 so I can keep essentials at each machine. Now my scissors, seam rippers, tweezers, bobbins, Q-tips, and other items are always at hand (not scattered on the floor because they rolled off the table).Love the weight and the grippiness - these stay put and don’t wander around the table. My sewing supplies are way more organized and accessible now.

Little Different
This was a little different than I had imagined. It's bigger than I thought and the spaces seem to be bigger, can't put slender stuff in it. But overall it's serving the purpose.

Holds any size ruler well
This is perfect for my cutting table to keep the rulers I’m using for a particular project at hand. The rotary cut fits perfectly in larger slot. I have a pencil in mine as well. It always seems to disappear when I need it. Now I can see and find it.

Great Organizer for Quilting Rulers
This item worked great for my set of flying geese rulers and my half square triangle rulers, plus the rotary cutter. It does not take up much space on your cutting area so you have your basics at hand. Great too for pens, pencils and other such implements & tools!
