This is super great and my wrists love me now! Using a regualr iron is time consuming and painful if you’re ironing on vinyl a lot. I sell on Etsy so this speeds up the process and it’s more convenient. The size is good and I would recommend getting the Cricut mat that pairs with it. You can use a fluffy towel but I like the mat best. I was worried that it wouldn’t work on my 12x12 stuff but it works great! I don’t buy Cricut vinyl because it’s hella expensive and you get so little product it’s kind of a rip off. so if you buy off brand and it comes out funny after transferring it try adjusting the temperature and pressure. Sometimes I don’t even push down until the last 5 seconds. I would for sure but it again!

I'm new to the whole Cricut community, but this purchase has been amazing. After using an iron for my first project, a friend recommended a heat press. This one is perfect for the casual user since it is small and reasonably priced. I used the new heat press for my Christmas Pajama project and was extremely pleased with both the ease of using and the result. I am anxious about having my toddler around, so I always make sure my husband is occupying her in another room when this machine is plugged up and hot.

I was really nervous about spending the money on this if a cheap $10 iron would do the same thing, but I have to say, it was worth it. You can choose the temperature it heats to, which is great when working with a variety of material. It beeps when it's heated to the temperature you need, so you don't waste time trying to get the decal to transfer when it isn't hot enough. It will also do a countdown so you know you've had heat in the right spot for the right amount of time. The square design is great for shirts. It also heats very evenly. It does get pretty hot, so it can take several minutes to cool down, but it comes with a cooling rack thing that's perfect since you can't tilt it up to cool like a regular iron. The size is great for t-shirts and bags. It's a little large for coozies, but it works and I think it's the most versatile size-wise of the Press machines. I've recommend it to all my Cricut friends!

I'm glad I was able to purchase one of these I'm satisfied with my order. I love how it is easy to use and put away whenever I am not using it. I love the size it's not to big and I can store it anywhere, love how it does not require so much space. I like how it beeps whenever it is ready to use and also during heating a shirt, the timer is great. Although you have to apply pressure while heating, I'm ok with that because it still gets the job done!

Ive owned many Cricuts and have always used a standard house iron. i have always wanted to try the presses but didn't want to pay the price, i do think they are a bit expensive consider i can get a professional press for nearly the same price, but i lucked into a good price so i took the bait.I will say that the press has gone beyond what i thought it would do. It holds the temperature much better and it covers more area than a standard iron. I would say if your on the fence take the plunge into the greener grass. Enjoy

I purchased this to press plastic bling decals on t-shirts for Christmas and I chose this because of the specific heat settings I could get. The timer is an added bonus and I came to rely on it very quickly. I chose this size iron because I do not mind moving it around from spot to spot for larger items but figured the larger iron would not work well for smaller items. This size worked out perfectly. This is a very quality product and I highly recommend it to anyone who is not ready or have the space for a large press but wants the same professional results. I also purchased the pressing pad that goes with it and some Teflon sheets. To get the temperature settings right for the bling decals, I did some research online and found a blog that talked about it. I could then use the exact temperature settings and timer to pressed the decals on to the T shirts and not worry about melting or having any other problems.

it works well but I think your just paying for the cricket logo if im being honest. I think its a bit pricey when you could just set a timer on your phone and use a 20 dollar iron.

Update: a year later and this press is still going strong! I’ve had zero issues!I actually really love this! First time heat transfer user and it’s pretty straight forward if you’ve worked with vinyl before! It comes with a dust bag and decal to practice with, as well as instructions and a quick start guide! I got the smallest one because I’m not going to be doing huge projects.. yet. I also ordered it with the easy press mat and no complaints there!

I was pleased to see that the Cricut Press came in a smaller size (6" x 7"). This is totally perfect for my needs. I've never used one before and the quick instructions were enough to get me going. I had hesitated to open the box until I had enough time to dedicate to learning it. In less than 2 minutes I had completed their test press. It's a breeze. An excellent product that I recommend to anyone in the Cricut world.

I knew this was going to work better than an iron for putting on Heat N Bond, and doing thermal transfers but wow it's another level. I've even started using it for heat setting dyes, and it's perfect for that too. Super easy to use, warms up super fast, auto shut off, built in time. It will save you SOOO much hassle over an iron. Perfect results every time. My only regret is that I didn't get the next size up. If I knew it was going to work this well I definitely would have. I'm not sure why "Brightness" is listed as one of the features but I gave it 5 stars across the board because it's so great.

So far so good. I'm not an exp6but or feels like good quality. I love a good old fashioned heavy iron. Has never scortched fabric
