Would buy again if needed
Most of these are written by men so it's been nice reading from the female pro end of things. Very helpful information. Written in an entertaining as well as informative way.

Great for Beginners
Nicknamed "The Striking Viking," this lady is "striking" in appearance (quite lovely) and at the billiard table. Her writing style is down-to-earth and easy to read and follow. For the beginner this is an excellent way to start learning the game and understand how to make balls on the table go where you want them to go.

Highly Recommended
This is a great reference book for both amateur and professional billiard players. It's very informative and you learn a lot just from one chapter. If you can buy it used, then you have found a true gem.

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Pool
This book is ok. I bought it for one purpose and got what I wanted. I play pool and almost every one plays a little different. Some of her things are not like mine but I have not written a book. I also do not have the titles she does but for my age (73) and being in a wheelchair I do have a few trophies. I also can't practice 6 hours a day. I can say this, every time she is on TV I watch her. She is a great player and a wonderful person. A person can't go wrong following her instructions.

Great gook for the beginner
This was actually the first book I read when learning about pool. It's very easy to understand and covers all the basics (and some advanced), from the stance to how to choose your cue and your table.Very good starting point to learn about the game.

Good book
Very well explained. Very talented lady and successful player.Worth reading. Encourages one to practice. We have a table and I have seen an improvement in my game.I am not interested in competitions, just to have home and not look like an idiot. But to my surprise and that of others I start to raise eyebrows of the way I am playing now. I have won a few games against experienced players. Many times we are close to the end of the game and I have 1 ball on the table and others 4, no matter who wins I already feel like a winner at that point. And for the short time I have been playing, it is a BIG deal as this is not an easy game by any means.I openly display my book and point out Ewa Matay is a talented lady and a good teacher. I highly recommend it. Not everyone is a good teacher, she is.
