N64 Gamecube AV Cable RCA Video for Super Nintendo 64 SNES, 6FT Multi Out

Writing this review not just for product review but to also maybe shed some light if they are having similar N64 problems to mine. Long review to explain my circumstance and my thoughts on other reviews I was reading about these before purchasing. TDLR: Worked for me. Received 09/19/2026. Tested 09/22/2026. Reviewed 09/22/2026 Ran into a problem where my N64 was not displaying images with my TV. Initially thought it was due to my AV cable as I also have composite cables for my other consoles that seem to work fine, but it is just my N64 that won't project an image. Power did not seem to be a problem as it was turning on. Read from other reviews that picture quality wasn't good, that the part that plugged into the port was slightly loose and missing pins, and that the red/white/yellow pin heads were weak and would snap when removed from the TV. Very scary reviews. However, figured it was cheap so why not? Bought the cable. Unfortunately, did not work and cable also seemed to be missing a pin when comparing it with my original AV cable. Decided to take both these cables to a retro gaming shop to have it tested to see if my problem was even due to the AV cables, or perhaps I now have 2 defective cables. Turns out, it was just my memory pack in the N64 console that needed some cleaning. They cleaned it with q-tips soaked with 99% isopropyl alcohol and that did the trick. They tested both my original AV cable and this product, and both showed images. When I arrived home to test it on my TV, the image still never appeared, but at least the audio was working now. I tested these cables on my friend's TV, and it worked, so I think now the problem is my TV can't read the input from this cable specifically for the N64 (weird that it could read this from my other consoles though). Planning on getting Retrotink (would require this cable anyways to plug into Retrotink which then plugs into the TV, I believe) to hopefully ameliorate this issue. Will update if the product stops working unexpectedly

I thought I needed to buy an old box tv or a converter in order to play my n64. Nope, turns out I just needed some new AV cables. This 5.99 cable literally saved me hundred of dollars.

Bought a N64 that I assumed would come with the proper cables and of course it did not so had to buy this one on Amazon. Worked great as intended and I've been using for about 2 months now with zero problems. Highly Recommended

This cord works exactly as it should. It plugs right into my N64, and produces good quality picture and audio. Length is a bit longer than original, which is nice. Would order again, if I add another system or need a backup.

They work just fine good picture quality good sound quality connectivity is easy compatibility is there both for the Nintendo GameCube and the Nintendo 64 and even the Super Nintendo it is a four-star rating because of the price it's just a little much for what it is the cable could be a little bit longer too

Lost my cord for snes years ago.. this one workes perfectly....

Got this in a panic thinking my GameCube died. This fixed my issue. The AV cord I was using that went out was the original from the early 2000s, and this one looks almost identical. It's just missing the "Nintendo" logo🤣 Great cord, everything plugs in easily and fits snug just like it should. The picture quality is just the same as it was with the old one, no funny colors or fuzz. Great quality cord. Might buy another just for a spare.
