Callaway Golf Strata Complete Golf Set (Men's and Women's)

We bought this set for our teenage son’s birthday. He’s a beginner who only plays occasionally, and it has been the perfect starter set. The clubs feel well made, the bag is lightweight and looks great, and everything you need is included. For the price, it’s an excellent value and a great choice for anyone just getting into golf. He was thrilled with it!

Very solid set of clubs, I am more than happy with them.. well worth the money

As Sept 17 2019: This is my first set of clubs ever, I just started to play on May 2019, and I took lessons through June and July at top golf with the clubs the have there and when I started playing in the real courses I decided to buy my own clubs since at this point I knew I was going to play this game for a long time. I was scared about the bad reviews of people who broke their drivers or 3W, but to be fair that happens when you hit the ground on really bad swings. This is a beginner set, you can't expect to shovel the ground with your wood or driver without something bad happens. I've been playing these clubs for 2 months and nothing has been broken so far my carry is around 255-265 with the driver and 230-235 with the 3 wood. The only downside I can think of is it doesn't come with the sand wedge, so as I've been improving my game I bought separate wedges set and that the Irons are a little bit shorter than most of the standard irons, eg 7 iron is 36.5" instead of 37". I have to say, I've been playing with some really rough balls and the faces of all clubs (even the putter) have some deep scratches. But you are buying a whole set of clubs, including the bag for lows 200s. Amazing value, an I think I'll keep them for about a year or more before upgrading.

Bought this as my first golf set. Seem to be great clubs so far. Have the right clubs to get you going- you can always buy more along the way. Looks great too! Bag has plenty of pockets for storing your stuff as well!

Let me first start off by saying that for the price and what you are buying; you cant beat it. I ordered mine when they were $200 and I played my first course yesterday with them. This is my review as a beginner keep in mind: Look and Feel: Visually, these clubs are simple and do not have a lot of flare to them but that is something I like. There is no Callaway branding on them and the bag simply has Strata on the side. Not a problem for me, but I know that was a complaint among avid golfers. The clubs I received are sturdy and feel okay in the grip. The grips are comprised of this rubber like material and I found initially as I was testing them out at the driving range, my grip would slip as my hands got clammy. Wearing a glove fixed this issue when I played on the course but it is something to keep in mind when you buy them. Use on the Course: The driver I have problems with but that is most likely due to that I am a beginner. The irons are pretty standard and work as intended. The 5 Hybrid club really shines though and I found that after driving, this was my go to to get the ball on the green. The putter is okay, I have used others that feel better to me as I used them. This obviously is preference based and others may find the putter to be great. I will probably upgrade the putter. Overall: Overall, I highly recommend these clubs as a great starter set. The driver and 5H are forgiving for the beginner which is great so that the beginner, like me, can improve their game without much cost to the game on the course. For the money, you cannot escape the great value that come with these clubs. As a beginner to the game, I give the clubs a 5/5 and highly recommend.

Good beginners set

Great starter set! Not to expensive and takes a beating.

Just recently started playing golf and didn’t want to break the bank on clubs until I got better or made sure I really liked the game. This is a great beginner set of clubs! The bag is nice and light and seems to be good quality. The irons are actually pretty good especially considering the price and have a good feel to them. As a beginner I like them better than my son’s Ping Tour irons! The driver is not bad to begin with. The 3 wood is ok. I like the 5 hybrid(I hit pretty well with it!) The putter could be better. Feels kinda dead to me. But for under $250 I can’t complain. Overall I think it’s a great starter set and is worth it just for the irons and the bag. This isn’t a set you keep for a lifetime but will get you started and you can have fun with.

I bought the set on Prime day for just over $500. I've used the clubs a few times and am very pleased with their performance. The bag is not super high quality, but is good enough. My only gripe is that there's no SW included in the set. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

Bra golfset. Saknade en sandwedge i setet så det beställde jag separat. Blev perfekt.

Muy buen equipo para los que empiezan a jugar, la entrega fue excelente!
