Perfect fit, with a little muscle and stress (not mine!)
After being sideswiped, my right side passenger mirror was literally hanging on with Scotch tape. The entire unit, i mean, not just the mirror part! Fortunately, my long-suffering hubby found this replacement and was able, with some sweat, stress, and yes, profanity, to install it for me. You may want to hire a professional, though - opening up the inner portion of the door was where most of the swearing occurred. Works great, though!

Replacement for my 07 Corolla
I talked with my mechanic who installed this for me. He explained that I needed to get it set to where I needed it to be and leave it. He said it all worked well but and was installed properly however it was not a perfect fit and the mirror itself didn’t work the best with the controller used to adjust the mirror. It looks great. No one would ever know I ripped the previous mirror off my car. It works for the most part. And I’m very satisfied. The cost of this one was much more preferred to the cost of the one at the local auto parts shop.

This mirror fit perfectly. The motor was so quiet I thought it wasn't working. Very pleased with this mirror. YouTube university showed me how to install in about 20 minutes.
