This worked perfectly along with a chain cover to reduce the clang of noisy trailer chains. While the 2" size was larger than needed for a 1" chain, I was unable to find 1 1/2", but in the end it did shrink enough to hold. Used this heat shrink tubing for wiring on my car project, and I’m honestly impressed. It shrinks evenly, seals tight, and that adhesive lining really locks out water and dirt perfect for under-hood or marine use. I even tested it with a heat gun and lighter, and it held up without melting or bubbling. The roll length is generous, so you won’t run out mid-project, and it feels way more durable than the cheap stuff that splits. If you’re doing any kind of automotive, electrical, or hobby work, this is the tubing you want — clean, professional results every time.

This product is good and works as expected

I really want to give this 5 stars because it is great tubing, but knocking one off because the 2" clear does not have any glue as stated. As it turns out, this was better for my application and the clear is a bit more cushy/flexible than the color are, so all is well. The only clear I've ever used was very small diameter and it was known glueless tubing...maybe it's normal with clear and the XHF normal colored tubing has glue like usual. But this is good stuff. Longitudinal shrink is almost zero, which is great. It does do a full 3:1 shrink but you'll need a heat gun, not just a hair dryer (or god forbid, a lighter) - you can do those methods with smaller 2:1 tubing but if you want the full shrink on 3:1 and in medium to larger sizes, you need better heat application. In the photo is some 1.5" black 3:1 from TEMCo and this 2" clear from XHF. Fully shrunk it's around 11/16" diameter with a good thick wall (almost like PEX pipe but softer...stiffer than PVC/vinyl tubing). It's noticeably softer than any black/red tubing I've used but it's till rigid enough to support and protect - grabs more dust than the colors and may be more prone to abrasion but this is still soft shrink tubing, not a jacket. I guess heed the glue warning if that's important to you, but otherwise highly recommended and I'll buy some other sizes from XHF in the future. Some of the 3:1 tubing out there isn't very good or just so-so, but this brand and the TEMCo are both excellent.

Probably an unconventional use but I needed to sure up the ends of my Battle Rope in my home gym. Because I cut it to make it 3 feet shorter. This looks and feels like the original handle! Very pleased. An added bonus is the adhesive interior. Used a Drill Master heat gun. Good quality. Seems durable!

It worked out great. Had four wires took the heat shrink tube over them then used a heat gun to shrink. Looks great.

I used this to seal a PCV Tube on my tractor that was cracked and causing a leak. Sealed it very nice with the glue inside the tube. Very nice quality shrink tube. Not the cheap flimsy stuff.

Product works as expected. Very good value for the price. Perfect for automotive wiring.
