Blue Sky Alpacas Organic Cotton Yarn (624 INDIGO)

A very soft cotton yarn...that you cannot wash in your machine. I had planned on using this yarn to make my daughter a few facial shrubs for her birthday but cannot because it can't be washed. The care info was not at once evident. My fault was assuming the product was washable like any other cotton everything I own. The label with it says to dry clean or hand wash only. It is also somewhere fairly deep into the description. I will try to think of something I can crochet that wouldn't want to wash in my washing machine...lol...or I may wash it in a laundry bag used for delicates and dry it in my dryer just to see what happens.

I bought this in poppy which it seems is not available now. Anyway, I am in love with this yarn. I have been crocheting with it all day and it is lovely. Transitioned from hank to ball with ease and it is like crocheting with butter. Beautiful. Mine is not particularly fuzzy or linty. No odor. So far no weird uneven spots or knots. OMG I want to make everything from this now. I'm crocheting so slowly cause it feels so nice and happy to work with this. I'm hoping to get my mom to knit me a sweater! (I'm not a knitter). Five shining stars from me. I love this cotton from Blue Sky Alpaca.

This yarn is so soft and washable, even though it says hand wash, I’ve never had any trouble with washing and drying, but I almost always make washcloths with this yarn, this time I’m making a blanket, we’ll see how it goes. I love the color choices. It does make a lot of fluff when knitting.

This Blue Sky Alpaca yarn is 100% organic cotton yarn! soft to the touch and no impurities inside. It is about the size of wool four ply yarn and so is easy to use. It takes 6-8 balls to make a blanket. It can be machine washed on a gentle cycle with warm water only. It fluffs up well in the dryer. Again, low heat is recommended.Look on the web site. the colors will seriously affect your decision making skills!

I got an assortment of yellow, light grey, dark grey, an apple green, and black, and am making a blanket for a friend from them. I knitted 64 individual patterned squares, and am going to crochet them together with the black yarn. It is really soft, and I hope that baby and his mama will enjoy it.

Yarn is a beautiful color and arrived quickly. This is one of my favorite yarns to work with. Worth the price!

This is great quality, but you have to be careful unwraveling it. If you get tangled it will be very hard to find your way out, but if you are careful with it it's fine.

Luscious to work with. Made socks for my son for Christmas as he will only wear 100% cotton. He loves them. Am about to order more for a second pair. Expensive socks, but he's worth it
