I was using a door frame mounted pull-up bar and the problem was that it just wasn't high enough. That's why I ordered the Seleware. Mounted above my door frame puts it at the perfect height for me to hang without my feet touching the floor and perform pull-ups from the lowest position - which is much more difficult but a better workout. The bar is super strong and solid and comes with all the hardware needed to mount to studs or concrete.

Bar is sturdy, screws are good. It comes with drywall and wood screws. We installed it into a solid wood beam outside without any problems. It measures slightly under 32 inches, and the packaging was a bit messed up, as well as there not being very detailed instructions in the package, although the setup is straightforward. Overall good quality, excited to use it.

This thing is a beast. I seriously looked at that little tiny box and thought, no way. Well, that itty bitty box of parts surprised the daylights out of me. It is very heavy duty and it is incredibly easy to assemble, too. There are 3 parts to the bar: 2 end pieces and a center pole piece. They inserted easily into one another with no burrs or defects. The holes lined up perfectly. A bolt goes through each of those 2 holes into the receiver, which is also a support for the bar. That all there is to assembling the thing. Two simple bolts. The lag screws that come with it are heavy duty and very well suited to the job. It was nice, for once, to not have to go run to town for better hardware. This thing comes with hardware that is definitely up to the task. (I used the lag screws going into wood. I can't speak to the anchors. But they provide both. The anchors did look very robust.) The cushioned grips are comfortable, although I'm not sure how long they will last. They appear to be excellent quality; but foam isn't going to last forever. I would expect to replace the foam at some point down the road; but that is perfectly normal and not a defect in the product in any way. It's just the nature of anything with a foam cover. There is an option to purchase it without foam if that is a concern. I just like the cushion and am willing to replace the foam later on when needed. The bar itself is very durable, so it will just be a matter of replacing the padding and not the entire pull-up bar. The end pieces have several holes for attaching resistance bands, and 2 links are provided. So it is functional for more than just pull ups. Overall, this is a high quality piece of equipment. Very happy with this equipment.

I’ve been really impressed with the overall build and feel of this pull up bar. It is extremely sturdy once installed and gives me a lot of confidence during workouts. Installation was straightforward, but I will say it takes a bit of time and effort to fully tighten the bolts and get everything locked in place. It is not difficult, just something to plan for so you are not rushing the setup. Once mounted properly though, it feels rock solid and does not shift or wobble at all. The added hooks for resistance bands are a nice bonus and expand what you can do with it beyond just pull ups. No missing parts and can certainly hold a good amount of weight. Overall, this feels like a great value for the price and something I expect to last a long time. It looks good, performs well, and adds versatility to a home workout setup. I set mine up in my office doorway so I could use it during the day when I needed a break or wanted to reset my focus. Doing a few pull ups here and there actually helps clear my head and get me back on track with work. The bar came packaged nicely and included hardware for different setups, including options for concrete and drywall studs. Installation was straightforward, but you will want a good stud finder since there are multiple mounting points to secure it properly. Once installed, it feels solid and stable during use. The size works well for different body types too, whether you are smaller, medium, or larger build, as long as it is installed correctly. I also chose the version with padded bars, and that was definitely worth it. It makes a big difference in comfort, especially during longer use. Overall it is a well built and reliable pull-up bar that is easy to add to a home setup and use daily.
