The spring-open only work half the time...
I was so excited when i first got this; fits in my hand like it was custom made and snips the dead-heads right off! But very soon the cutter stopped opening after snipping, even if i squeeze it several times. I still use it, but it`s a bit of a nag to get it working. : (

The best garden tool I own
I bought these after the wire on my previous pair broke and I didn’t want to be without such a great garden tool, I use them all the time for deadheading and pruning. Burgon and Ball have now supplied me with a wire to repair the previous pair and I have two of these excellent tools.
