Pole doesn’t adjust, wheel not attached
First of all, one of the wheels was not attached upon arrival to me. At first I couldn’t find the bolt but when I shook the box, it fell out. But there was no nut to tighten the bolt so I had to run to the hardware store to get one. It’s really hard to get the nut through the tiny hole to attach it to the bolt. Im guessing it fell out of a hole in the box it arrived in somewhere in transit. Once I got the wheels figured out I attached the extra pole which is not adjustable by the way. So I either shoot with my light crashing into the ceiling in order to be able to tilt my plm downward or take the extra steel pole out completely which won’t work for photos of adults. For newborns or small kids it’s ok but ridiculous design for trying to photograph adults. Disappointed that I paid $300 for this and it’s not usable for what I need. I’m considering getting my money back and sending the product back to them in their awful box.

Loose wheels.
Very good item once you go in and fully tighten the wheels. I was surprised we had to do this you think it would come with the wheels fully tight. One wheel was close to falling off. Once you do this it is a very good product.

Love it!
Had a normal stand before and just upgraded to this one and I love it. This one feels so much more heavy duty. The legs do stick out quite a bit farther than my old one but if you adjust it right, it shouldn't be a problem. My favorite part is how easy it is to get my light up and down the pole and the wheels. That all can be done one handed.

Very disappointed
This came without the casters attached. There is an Allen screw that go up through the caster and a lock washer and nut attaches on the inside of the square tubing. I had to pull the plastic cap off the end of the tubing to put the washer and nut in. However the tubing doesn’t have enough room to get a wrench or socket inside. I called Manfrotto. They said the casters should have come attached and maybe I could use needle nose pliers to hold the nut in place... good luck! Of course the pliers couldn’t be opened wide enough to hold the nut. After struggling FOREVER, I finally got all casters put on.

Great alternative to expensive studio camera stands.
This relatively inexpensive (as far as camera stands go) stand works really well as a tripod alternative. It's great for a non-gripped Canon 5DMKII and variety of lenses for shooting still lives in studio. It would be great if the sliding arm and column had a bit less shake but you'll get great results by using a remote shutter release or self timer for slow exposures. I would definitely buy this item again.

Just buy it! ;)
I didn't expect it to literally snap two pieces together and have it ready to go. So far I love having a rolling stand. Sturdy and easy to raise and lower the light with the one handed grip. Don't know why it took so long for me to get this!
