These were just what needed to convert my outdoor path lights to a socketed version for a fraction of the cost of new lamps .

This is a really nice set of G4 light sockets to use with various DYI projects. They're well built and work just fine. I only used them with 12V LED bulbs and I don't think is safe to try higher voltage.

These G4 ceramic bulb sockets are well made and feel built to last. The ceramic body gives confidence when dealing with heat, and the thick wire leads feel sturdy and safe compared to cheaper, thin alternatives. The sockets hold G4 bulbs snugly, with no looseness or wobble once installed. Installation was easy right out of the box. The pre-stripped wires save time making connecting with the main wire very easy, and the 30cm lead length is plenty for most fixtures. Overall, these are reliable replacement sockets for G4 or MR11 bulbs. If you’re upgrading lighting or replacing worn-out holders, this 10-pack is a good value and feels much more durable than basic plastic versions.

I’ve been using these G4 ceramic lamp holders for my DIY landscape lighting projects, and they’ve held up well in outdoor environments. That’s worth noting depending on how you plan to mount them, but in my case, it worked fine within the 3D‑printed housings. Overall, they’ve been reliable for low‑voltage outdoor lighting, especially for projects where you want flexibility in designing your own fixtures.

I got these to install some tiny G4 lights into some of my 3D printed lamps and lithopane art works/photos. they work great are are prefect for little night lights and ambience lighting when under a shroud. These were a great price for the amount i got since Radio Shack isn't really a thing any more, and there isn;t a MicroCenter within 150 miles of my house. These were easy for my to run the wires and hold the bulbs snuggly in the plugs.

Just drill a 5/16 hole in the material you want to mount the lights, and the socket slides right in. It holds my G4 lamps without any issue. They come with pigtail wires with a length of about 12 inches. The ceramic body will make these hold up better in the elements, I am using them outdoors.
