There is a top handle and a detachable shoulder strap, so you can carry it by hand or go hands free. The little gold feet on the bottom keep the leather off the ground when you set it down.Style wise, it is a bucket bag but with structure. holds form even when empty and not being held. More polished and put together, works for everyday or dressing up a little. Not huge, but plenty of space for most people. In line with any medium sized bag.On the brand. Karl Lagerfeld is a real designer brand, founded by the man himself in 1984 in Paris, where the main fashion house is still based today. The line on Amazon is Karl Lagerfeld Paris, the North American version of the brand, which sits in the accessible luxury tier with Coach and Michael Kors. Not Chanel money, but a real heritage brand.Compared to similarly priced Coach bags, this one feels just as nice if not a little nicer. Worth the price if you like the look.

Mrs Aloha Friday doesn't have a closet full of fancy, expensive purses like some gals, but she has a few good leather bags along with a larger collection of colorful, fabric bags that are eclectic and fun. She said the bags you LUG around with your pals Bauer and Bean until land's end are more her speed, if you caught those four references. ;o) I don't think she ever spends more than $150 on a bag, and that would be for larger, weekender bags or other travel bags. I really talked her into this, as I wanted her to have something special for a change. She was pretty excited, though a little guilty about the price, despite the bag being provided for testing it. The point, she said, was what it represents. She feels that paying this much for a handbag just isn't "her." I respect that. She likes to spend money more practically, and rarely on herself. Name brands don't impress her unless the quality matches the price. So, she went over it really thoroughly for you to see if a designer bag was worth it.Karl Lagerfeld is well known to her, as the brand has been around before she was born in the 60's. It's her first item from the brand. The handbag is simple and classic, the black rich and deep, with bright gold tone hardware. The design is elegant, and sports the brand name prominently if you like that. It looks like something Jackie O might have owned. To her, it's formal because of its form - not floppy like a hobo bag, but you could of course wear it with jeans. The handle is thick but only stands up if you pose it carefully. It will mostly fall over. A detachable crossbody strap is included. The pebble leather is luxurious in feel and sturdy in composition. It's definitely good quality leather and smells great. There are no zippers, just magnets and one drawstring to open and close the two large openings on each side. They're pretty deep, but you aren't going to store a lot in this bag, nor keep anything particularly private as you can see into it even with the drawstrings closed due to the folds in the leather. You might only find it useful for special occasions where you don't need to carry much. There's one slim pocket inside the front compartment, but no other organization. There are four branded, gold-toned feet to protect the leather on the bottom. The bag has all the extra components she's ever heard of in fancy bags, from the drawstring dust cover, the branded packaging, to the little note with a message from KL. It also has excessive paper and plastic! She took a photo of that as well. She was shocked by it.All in all, despite its beauty and quality, she feels it's overpriced and this has cemented in her mind that you do pay a premium for a name. The materials and craftsmanship are excellent, there's no question, but she has other good leather bags for less than half the price ($348 as of this writing), and twice the size. She isn't sure how long the gold accents will hold up, but they get fingerprints easily. The rest of the bag will last forever. She admits she feels special holding a KL designer bag. She could go anywhere fancy and be treated well because it screams money. Money means success. Who doesn't want to feel successful and accomplished? Who doesn't want to be admired and maybe even envied? I know that seeing her carrying it makes me feel like I did something nice for my wife, which makes me feel like I'm a good husband. Or even, a husband who can give my wife the luxuries in life. Whoa. There's a lot of psychology tucked into this bag! It makes you think about what you prioritize, how you feel about yourself, and how you want to appear to others. Nothing in life is ever as simple as it appears, is it? It's all about choices. It's just a bag. Or is it?? Gah! LOL

I absolutely love this new purse. The style is cute. It's like a bucket purse but it has a strong divider across the center with just one short handle on that center divider piece, which is different, where normally purses will have two short handles on the outer sides. The design of this is very gorgeous and I love it. It's small enough that I don't overwhelm myself. I can't put my tablet and my remarkable paper pro and all of these other things in it. It forces me to leave things at home, which I absolutely love. Otherwise I will put so much stuff in my larger purses until they start to hurt my shoulders so the size is definitely something perfect for me.I love the little straps. I can pull them a little bit tighter and cinch up the top of the purse slightly. It's a very good leather material, very well made. It just looks pristine and I'm so happy with it. It's a great deal for such a premium purse.

My wife was sooooo stoked when I gave her this designer purse! She has a few nice purses she really likes, but nothing really is extravagant as this. I was so happy when I acquired it to give to her, because I knew that it was just going to absolutely make her whole day!It is a really well made, genuine leather bag. The leather has that little bit of rough texture to it that is really nice and things like handbags, it also has that beautiful genuine leather smell that I love so much! I really love the little Golden colored metallic pieces that are on this purse, they match the zippers. It has plenty of pockets to keep all your things nice and organized. My wife says that it's the perfect size, she used to like really big bags, and she has one or two that's nearly twice this size. However she doesn't really use them anymore she says they're just too big she likes to have a purse that's a little smaller, closer to this size. She can use the shoulder straps to go over her shoulder, or if she wants to she can just put her arm through the little handles and throw it over her shoulder that way. This is definitely a really well made bag that should last for many years as long as it's well taken care of.In my opinion the asking price for this unit is really fair and reasonable! I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends and family!!

The bucket bag was originally designed by Louis Vuitton in 1932 (the Noé bag) to carry champagne bottles, it has become a staple in modern fashion. Popular styles include the classic drawstring top, which secures the bag, and modern iterations that feature magnetic closures or specialized shapes. This Karl Lagerfeld bag combines the essence of the original style with modernized features. I tend to shy away from any purse that doesn’t have at least one zippered half. This one is so incredibly gorgeous, though, in addition to having strong magnetic closures and being tall (although I have no champagne to transport in it)! This attention to detail in the design offers reassurance that the contents of my purse will remain securely inside.
