It is more so like grease. Its very oily after you put it in your hair and scalp. So you should put it on thin. A jar can last up to four months, depending upon the use and length of hair. None the less, it works.

How to get rid of it from the hair? My hair became a disaster, I can’t wash it of neater with shampoo, dish soap, hard soap. I am blond white person.

I had the same problem, had to wash it 3 times. My hair was sticking out all over. I do not recommend this for Caucasian hair.
