Perfect for what I needed, goes on almost white but dries clear as long as you have a thin layer

Love this for prepping my paint by numbers canvases. Makes them so much easier to paint by smoothing and sealing the surface.

When applied thinly you don't have to sand the canvas for tooth. It dries relatively fast also in about 15 minutes.

Did the job
I do Paint by Number and was told to apply this prior to painting since the colors would go on better. I did. Frankly I don't know if it helps or not. However, it certainly doesn't harm the canvas and my paints seem to cover well. I do think the main thing is to buy your painting from a reliable company. Good qulity canvas, and paints that are true to the picture.
